Steve walks up out of breath and I stare at him amazed. I literally climbed it and I never thought of that. He hops into the back and all the other men stare at him. Peggy jumps out and shoves me into the back of the jeep. I don't deny, I was exhausted. I was leaning on Steve the whole ride back and he wrapped an arm around me.

"You're an amazing friend, Steve. You know that right?" I mumble, my eyes tired and I just want to sleep. He lets out a hum of 'yes' and he laughs too. "Hey Peggy, do you know if Dr. Erkstein needs me?" I asked her and I yawned. Suddenly I jolt up when I hear sounds of gun fire. My hand is poised on my hand gun.

"He is going to talk to you tomorrow. You right now are going to take a nap." She says and I nod.

"I'm showing signs of weakness and The Dark Huntress isn't weak." I mumble and Peggy laughs.

"She isn't weak, but right now Victoria Allen is hurt and tired and she needs rest." Peggy says and I nod.

"Now I have a great excuse to use." I laugh mumbling. "Let's just hope I don't get send on any undercover missions. It's suck at this time of the year and because I just got shot and stabbed. Bucky would be like 'you poor doll, let me kiss you to make it better.'" I laugh and I snuggle into Steve. "I wouldn't fall for it, but I do have some of the best friends the world could have." I sigh and open my eyes when the car jolts to a stop.

I climb out of the back, struggling with my arm and shoulder. I walk into my cabin and lay down on my bed sleepily. My eyes close and I shake my head trying to stay awake. I stare at Steve and Peggy.

"Next time both of you leave, make sure to leave a note. I send the soldiers after you and I even offered a reward." I laugh. "My heart is getting thawed." I say and fall asleep.

Something presses up against my wound and I turn, groaning in the endless pain it brings me. My shoulder fells like it's on fire and I haven't even taken pain killers since I got shot and stabbed.

My eyes open to see Dr. Erkstein staring down at me. I immediately sit up.

"You wanted to talk to me about something." I say to him remembering what Peggy had said earlier. He pushes my back down gently, not to hurt me.

"Stay down. I have a sure feeling on who is going to be the super soldier." He says and I nod. I am pretty sure he is going to pick Steve.

"Rogers, isn't it? I'll watch him through training a little more, but since I knew him when I was younger I think he could be a great subject. He has heart, compassion and so much more." I say with a smile and Dr. Erkstein smiles at me.

"You're right about that." He says and pats my leg. "Get some rest, for the next few weeks you have to keep a close eye on the men and I recommend just watching the training." He laughs and I laugh with him.

"I think you're right about that." He begins to leave and I grab his arm. He turns back to me. "Thank you, Abraham." I say and he nods before walking out. I lean back with a sigh, looking up at the ceiling. It's gonna be a long next few weeks.

Over the weeks we have daily five miles runs and I'll drive the jeep yelling insults and encouragements to the men. We then have push-ups and jumping jacks and I'll randomly walk around the men and place a boot on their backs. I ignore Steve when I do that knowing he wouldn't be able to take it. I sit with Steve and the men during the weeks and nobody else has come for me.

Right now is around the time we need to pick the soldier for the experiments. I have the soldiers in line doing push-ups. I walk in between them doing the usual, yelling insults with Peggy.

"Come on, soldiers! My goldfish could do better push-ups than you without even knowing it!" I yell and I see some of the men try harder. They don't want to be compared to a small fish.
