Changed (Captain America)

Chapter 15

I groan in frustration and crouch down to the ground. I close my eyes and shake my head. Questions run through my head. Why do I constantly have people trying to come kill me from the other realms? Conflict disturbs my mind as I repeatedly go through my run downs with the others I have encountered.

I feel a hand on my shoulder. I spin quickly with my sword and aim it at the person's neck. Steve holds his chin to the air while my sword is right below it. I take my sword from his neck and whip into a tree fifty yards away.

"Are you okay?" Steve asks me after I throw it. I nod my head and then shake it a minute later.

"I don't know why these other people are after the princess. I haven't had any HYDRA after me, but people from the other realms. This is becoming so confusing." I say and Steve wraps his arms around me pulling me in for a hug.

"You'll figure it out in time. Right now we need to move to the base by train. We think they need him because of the last destroyed bases spies say that The Red Skull was really angry." Steve says and I nod.

"No emotions. I am an assassin for goodness sake, I should act like one." I say and stand taller. I stalk over to my sword and yank it out of the tree. I sheath it at my side and do the same with my daggers.

I walk back to the men while wiping a dagger against a cloth. I watch them looking around for somebody to say something to them.

"Men we have a Train with Doctor Arnim Zola. We will get to that train and we will defeat him. We will capture the doctor and get back from this war. We will win!" I say and walk away. I hop onto my motorcycle.

"Come on, Bucky, Steve. We need to leave." I say and they nod. We ride away.

***Skipping Ride to snowy mountain***

We are on a snowy mountain. We have foot deep footprints in the snow and our toes are cold. Our faces pale against the white hills. Snow floats around us in a whirl wind of flurries. Our hair or my hair blows into my face white it just brushes through the guys' hair.

You can see Goosebumps on their skin and they stick close to me because I made myself hot. I can stand the cold, because I have water power. Water runs down my water resistant suit so my skin doesn't get wet, even though I can easily dry.

I walk up behind Steve and Bucky. I listen to their conversation when Bucky speaks. Steve was just looking over the scenery of the mountain and waiting for the train to come.

"Remember when Victoria and I made you ride the cyclone at Coney Island?" Bucky asks and I stifle a small chuckle. Steve has just eaten some food, Bucky and I practically forced him to go on it because we really wanted to go and didn't want to leave Steve out.

"Yeah and threw up." Steve says and now I bet you knew what happened when the ride ended. His food didn't end well and so didn't Bucky's shoes. Girls stayed away from him for weeks after that.

"This isn't pay back, is it?" Bucky asks and I see Steve smirk. He looks over at Bucky and at the railroad tracks.

"Now why would I do that?" Steve says and I grin.

"Bucky, at least you haven't had food before this. Steve doesn't have to watch his shoes." I laugh and so does Bucky. Steve sends me a playful glare. Ever since I found out who I was I became less cold hearted.

"You were right, Doctor Zola is on the train. Hydra dispatcher just gave him permission to open up the throttle. Wherever he's going they must need him bad." One of the men who know German say after listening to radio communications.

"Let's get going, because they're moving like the devil." One of the men say, spotting the train with binoculars.

"We have a ten second window. You miss that window you're bugs on a wind shield, besides Victoria." Steve says hooking up his zip lining handles to the wire. He stretches his fingers and readies himself.
