Changed (Captain America)

Chapter 13

I turn my body fully around to see the person behind me. I glance over at Thor and Loki who grin at me. I glance over at Steve, Bucky and the men. They have their jaws dropped as they look before me.

If I hadn't been experiencing the things that have happened to me I would've been the same way. I look back at Thor and Loki. They both grin at me and I let out a weak smile. I take a few steps forward and I get down on one knee.

The person before me is a man on a horse. The horse is jet black and it has eight legs. It has no white markings on it. I somehow immediately know his name is Sleipnir. The man on the horse motions for me to stand up from my knee.

"Father, Elina called us for help. The frost giants have come after her now that she has some of her memories back." Thor says as he steps forward.

"Heimdall, has told me of what has happened. My daughter, I wish for you to come back to Asgard." The man on the horse says.

"Father, you must be my father since Thor calls you father. Well, father we are in the middle of war down here. If I do not help them who knows what will happen if I leave. I do wish to go to Asgard with you, but I hope to get some more or all of my memories back first." I say to him in a soft tone. The man looks down on me.

"I Odin of Asgard, All-father to the realms. I give you all the powers you're meant to have." He says to everyone and Thor and Loki pat me on the back. "You may fight this war and know that Heimdall will always be with you." He turns to leave.

"Father!" I call and he turns to me. "Is there any way to stay in contact with all of you or know if you or my brothers are near? I do not wish to not be able to have you, Thor and Loki without me." I say and he smile.

"Sister, those voices in your head were us. We're always with you." Loki waves a hand over his palm and produces three rings. One with a red jewel, another with an emerald jewel and a pure gold ring. "These will glow when we're near. The green is me, the red if Thor and the gold is father." He says and I nod. I slip them on the fingers.

"May I give you all a hug before you leave?" I ask them.

"We never thought you'd ask." They say and rush toward and squeeze me in a gigantic hug. We all move out of the head in laughter.

"Take Sleipnir with you and send him back before you destroy the last base." Father says and hands me over the reins. I walk forward and give them each a kiss on the cheek. I take the reins of Sleipnir.

"Thank you, father and brothers." I say and they nod. They hold their staffs and hammer to the sky and call out for Heimdall. Suddenly they're gone in a blur of powerful light. I turn to Sleipnir.

"I will keep you safe no matter what, you are a son of Loki and deserve to be safe." I say and he snorts. I put my arms around his neck and hug him. "You can roam free, but please stay close, I don't want to lose you. Do I need to take your tack off or does it disappear and appear like mine?" I ask him and the tack on him disappears. I let him go and he walks over to a tree and lays down.

I turn to the men. My eyes begin to droop tiredly. I walk past them and to Sleipnir. I lay down next to him and stare at the sky for a while. I hear footsteps coming towards me and I ready a dagger to protect Sleipnir.

I see red, white and blue. I slide my dagger away and continue staring at the sky.

"You know that could be potentially bad, sleeping in between a horses legs." I hear Steve say and I nod.

"Sleipnir would never intentionally hurt me. He may have eight legs, but it makes his unique. He is faster than any horse out there. He is known to be one of the best horses to go back into battle with and he is the horse of Odin son of Loki." I say to Steve. He lays down not that far from me.
