Epilogue

7 years later-

Today I become Queen Alexis Archer Knight of Silvia.

This is it! The day I have been waiting so long for.

As the make up artists leave my dressing room and I am left alone waiting for my mothers and bridesmaids to barge in, I think back on how far all of us have come in these past seven years.

Two years ago Alexius made the decision of finally relieving mom and dad of their duties and becoming king. He proposed to Jenna at his coronation and they got married a few months after. I couldn't believe my best friend was marrying my brother. I was on top of the world.
They even had a son six months ago named Prince Niall Matt Parker. I am an aunt! He is the most adorable thing in the world. I simply love him to no ends.
He is going to be the ring bearer at our wedding. The cutest one ever.

Daddy M and mom E (Mark and Emma's names as Alexis decided to call them) decided to retire with mom and dad too. Since then they've been in and out, touring the world. Enjoying the perks of being royal.
Archer's parents and I became very close in a very short amount of time after the both of us ended up together. I can happily say that I have three sets of parents who love me without bounds.

Alexius offered Mark's position to Gabe, and Stanley became the head of managing the Royal businesses.

Gabe and Sarah got married a year ago and she gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Grace Savanna Matthews two months ago.

Believe it or not the high school sweethearts, Stanley and Anna, separated in collage but in the end have still ended up together. Stan proposed to Anna at our rehearsal dinner last night and they'd be getting married soon enough too.

Ace went through with his plan of going to college in Paris but ended up transferring to UC, university of Celia, after two years, where the rest of us were. He is still my closest friend and partner in crime. Archer and him started spending a lot of time together when he came back. At first for me, but then they quickly became very good friends.

Rose became a drifter in our group. She mixed well with us but still decided to go out and try being with other people every once in a while. One moment she'd burst through the door and the other she'd be out the window.

She became a constant part of us when in the last year of college Ace sucked it up and finally asked her out after years of me constantly bugging him.

Now he works for Archer and is happily married to our lovely Rose. They'd ran away to get married, god knows why, and showed up five days ago for mine.
I guess they did it just for kicks, but after all I have gone through to prepare for this wedding I really think running away would have been ten times better. Anyways, we'd arranged a small reception for them given the short notice.

I remember the day Archer proposed to me like it happened yesterday. It was a few days after his coronation, six months ago.
Our whole family was in a hospital corridor while Alexius and Jenna were in the delivery room. My brother came out with baby Niall and put him in my arms. I read what's written on his hyacinth blue blanket in which he's wrapped in  and started crying.
It said, will you marry me? It was the cutest thing ever. My baby was still asleep but he held a beautiful intricate diamond ring in his closed fist. It was perfect. As I handed baby Niall to my mom, Archer bent on his knee and said things that made even my fathers go Awww. I jumped in his arms shouting 'Yes!' Not caring that we were in a hospital.
Our kiss was filled with so much emotion and love that I felt like melting right there and then. It was like our first all over again and somehow the best yet.
But our moment was broken by my best friend shouting from inside the room,"Stop trying to steal my spotlight you bitch. I just gave birth to a future heartbreaker. Come and hug me first. You can hog your future husband all you want later."
As I replied, "That ladies and gentleman is your Queen. Coming, Your Majesty."
Alexius simultaneously said,"Calm down, woman. You are the fucking queen for gods sake." But on seeing the look she was giving him he added, "I just mean be patient, gem. You have made me the happiest man today. Our boy is the cutest thing ever, I agree. But you're still weak. You need to take care of yourself."
The laughter and joy was pure and endless.
All in all it was one of the best days of my life. I'd never felt more happiness in a single moment.
