"You can't have every face in the UK on there. That would be against civil liberties, data protection, all that stuff." I tuned back into Tosh and Gwen's conversation.

"That's exactly what I said on my first day." I informed the Welsh women.

"Still doing that 'you' instead of 'we' thing." Jack pointed out as he took a sip of tea. I quietly thanked Ianto as he gave me a mug of raspberry tea.

"Damn." Owen groaned. "A hundred and nineteen suspects? This thing's supposed to give us a single clear match."

"The CCTV was too low res. I've tried magnifying and augmenting but it just breaks up. Which means the software can't function properly." Tosh explained.

"It narrows the numbers down at least." River tried to sound hopeful.

"Yeah, I could check through the rest." Ianto offered. "You know, the old fashioned way...with my eyes." He pointed to his eyes while I gave him a half amused look.

"What about the finger prints I took off the alley wall?" Gwen questioned. We all watched as the screen came up saying 'no match found' in bold, red letters. "It was a long shot anyway."

"Just a bit." Owen muttered sarcastically.

"At least she's trying to do something!" I exclaimed, having had enough of the medic.

"No, she's trying to do anything." He retorted.

"The CCTV must have picked up her arrival at the club. Tosh, can you reformat the image recognition software to trace her journey backwards via street camera network?" Jack cut in to stop the argument that was forming.

"I'll have a go but it'll take a while to process. Every possible turn on every street corner means hundreds and thousands of possibilities." Toshiko replied.

"We can have a go, I'll help. At least we know where she started the evening." Ella walked over to Tosh and started working on the computer. I snuck a glance at River, who was looking at her wife with an adoring smile.

"We could cross reference that with the addresses of the remaining face matches." Gwen suggested.

"Good one, newbie. That's more like it." Owen snapped his fingers and carried on with his work. Sometimes he can be so hard to like.

Not long later, we found the woman that we were looking for so the team went to get her, leaving me with River and Ella. We sat awkwardly for a while, using the weather as an interesting topic to keep ourselves from silence until I decided to speak up.
