" And I'm still talking to myself... Isn't that the first sign of going insane? "

The man let out one last howl and disappeared into thin air. I finally allowed myself to let out a sigh of relief. The feeling didn't last long, though, because the Doctor's worried voice snapped me out of my happiness. Well, as close as I could get to happiness in the current situation. "Your Majesty?" He questioned. I looked up and saw the Queen inspecting her wrist. "Did it bite you?"
"No, it's a cut." Victoria defended.
"If that thing bit you..."
"It was a splinter of wood when the door came apart." But I knew that no one believed her.
"Let me see."
My boyfriend reached out, but she pulled her hand away sharply in response. "It is nothing." The Time Lord simply stared at the woman.

It was morning by the time the hall had been cleared up enough to use and I was completely and utterly shattered. God knows how my sister was still acting awake.
The three of us were knelt down in front of Her Majesty and she held a sword in her hand. "By the power invested in me by the Church and the State, I dub thee: Sir Doctor of TARDIS." She tapped him on each shoulder with the tip of the sword. "By the power invested in me by the Church and the State, I dub thee: Dame Rose of the Powell Estate." She did the same to the blonde. "By the power invested in me by the Church and the State, I dub thee: Dame Lilly of TARDIS." She then did the same once again, smiling at me with a warmth she didn't have for the others. "You may stand." But I didn't fail to notice the while cloth wrapped around her hand.
We did as told and I looked beside me to see my boyfriend and Rose beaming. "Many thanks, Ma'am." Yeah, he probably won't be saying that when he knows what she's about to say.
"Thanks! They're never going to believe this back home." My sister added.
"Your Majesty, last night, you said about receiving message from The Great beyond. I think your husband cut that diamond to save your life. He's protecting you even now, Ma'am, even from beyond the grave."
"Indeed. Then you may think on this, also; I am not amused." Victoria said sternly.
"Yes." Rose grinned while the Time Lord groaned, ashamed of his loss. Did he even have ten quid to give her? He better not ask me for it...
"Not remotely amused." At that, the blonde tried her hardest to hide the smirk creeping its way across her face. "And henceforth, I banish the two of you." Not expecting this, my travelling companions let their mouths hang open. "I rewarded you, Sir Doctor. And now you are exiled from this empire..." Okay, maybe I was over exaggerating the whole 'banned from Earth' thing. "...never to return. I don't know what you are, the two of you, or where you come from that is different from Lilly, but I know that you consort with stars, and magic, and think it fun. But your world is steeped in terror, and blasphemy, and death - and I will not allow it! You will leave this shores and you will reflect, I hope, on how you manage to stray so far from all that is good. And how much longer you will survive this... terrible life. I wish to speak with Lilly one last time before you leave my world and never return."
