Enjoy!"Let's go to the garden!" Remus cried, smiling brightly. Janus chuckled, remembering the surprise he had left there.
"You'll find something waiting. Right there where you left it, laying upside down." Virgil gasped,catching on.
"When you finally find it?"
"You'll see how it's faded! The other side is lighter when you turn it around!"Virgil smiled nervously, thinking of what to wish for. He looked up at Remus, who was staring eagerly at the cake, and at Jnaus, who was smiling fondly. He decided to wish for them to stay the exact same way they were.
"Everything stays.." Janus whispered to himself. The fabric teased him, bringing back memories he wanted to forget. "But it still changes.." Janus hel the now worn out hoodie to his cheek, tears flowing down his face.
Remus watched Janus.
"Ever so slightly.." He sang each day, seeing Janus slowly change into a colder, harsher man."Daily and nightly," Remus sobbed to himself, his body covered in bruises from who he once saw as a father figure. "Everything stays.." He mumbled. Atleast Janus hadn't left him like the other two...
"But it still changes!" Remus exclaimed, singing along to the song he had taught his own child. Patton barely knew about his father's past, but he knew that the Duke was wounded. So, Patton decided to be the best father figure possible to everyone else to make up for Janus's poor behaviour.
