Chapter 27 --- The Fake Death

[Jennie's POV]

I'm now in the LM building waiting in her office. I was about to yell at her when I realized we are still in the public, so she told her manager to lead me here and told me to wait for now until she finished the event. I'm really upset and mad at the same time, can't believe what she chose to did, and what she thinks that's the best to do. I kept on thinking about how can she do that and  cursing her in my mind when the door suddenly opened, revealing Lisa. I quickly stood up and walk over then drag her over to the sofa.

"Now let's talk." I said and sit down on the sofa beside crossing my legs, "Lisa ssi." I gritted my teeth and glared at her made her gulp nervously and sat down in front of me.

"Jennie..."

"Now I know what LM stands for. Lalisa Manoban, am I right?" I asked in a cold tone, raised my brow, and fake a smile at her. She nodded, I scoffed. "So why are you doing this? The fake death? If it's a joke again then let me tell you, it's not funny at all." I stared coldly at her, sat properly, looking at her face then rolled my eyes and hissed in annoyance. "And would you please take that stupid mask off!"

She then look down and sighed, finally took her mask off revealing her face. That doll face I've always wanted to see for the past few years. But right now, all I'm feeling is furious and hurt. I was just staring at her before she started talking.

"Jennie..." She called and moved a bit on her sit, "I did all this for reasons."

"Mind tell me the reasons?" I asked sarcastically.

"I did it cause it's the best fo-"

"I swear if you say this is the best again I'll be the one to kill you and I'll make sure you'll be completely dead this time," I said in a cold harsh tone. "You clearly know that this isn't the best and yet you keep washing your mind like that, and even to me," I said then a knock on the door appeared. The door opens revealing Jisoo looking at us quite shock. "Just right in time killer, now come here and sit your ass beside her!" I spat and motioned her to come here, made her startled, and quickly close the door and came over sitting down.

Jisoo took a glance at Lisa then at me frowned, then she slowly opened her mouth and asked confusedly.  "Why am I been called in this awkward situation?"
