Rylie's POV
"Let's go out for breakfast." I told Leo.

We were already dressed for the day and didn't really know what to do.

"Sounds good. Where were you thinking." Leo responded as he pulled me by my waist between his legs.

I clutched Leo's face in both my hands and stared deep into his hazel orbs. I loved the way his eyes looked. His light eyes constrained so well with his long dark eyelashes, that I was so envious of.

"Well there's this local pancake place that I read about online. Apparently they make pancakes the size of your head." I told him with a giddy voice.

He released a light chuckle before grabbing my hand that rested on his right cheek. "Sounds good. I'll get the Uber." He told me.

"Yay! I think I'm gonna get chocolate chip pancakes." I exclaimed to him like a little kid.

All Leo did was smile at me and kiss my hand. Ahh... he is such a gentlemen.

45 minutes later:

"Holy shit these pancakes are huge." Leo said to me with wide eyes.

He decided to get blubbery pancakes and I choose chocolate chip. The one pancake covered the entire plate. That's is gonna be good.

"Hey Leo, can you pass the syrup?" I asked him.

His picked up the small pitcher of syrup and poured the contents over my gargantuan pancake.

"Allow me, miss." Leo said to me in a horrible British accent.

I giggled at his attempt of chivalry, but thanked him nonetheless.

Once my pancake was adorned in maple syrup I cut a reasonable amount and placed the fork full in my mouth. I immediately moaned and my taste buds danced in delight.

When I looked up Leo was looking at me with hooded eyes. "So I'm guessing it's good." He said while cutting into his pancake.

I watched intently as he bit into his pancake and his eyes shot open. "Well damn this is the best pancake ever." He said.

I nodded back to him with a smile and nodded.

Once we ate until our bellies were full, we made simple chit chat to pass the time.

"So Rylie, that night when we had sex..." Leo brought up while his ears turned red.

That night with Leo was the best night of my life. I don't regret a second of it.

"Leo I meant every word I said that night. I know we haven't really addressed it, but I want us. You make feel alive again. When I'm with you I don't feel the pressure of up holding the image of a CEO. I can just be Rylie. I want to be with you." I told him in one single breath before I could second guess myself.

I searched Leo's tan face for any sign of disagreement. He reached across the table and his cold hand grasped mine.

"I totally feel the same. I know we haven't known each other for long, but I can't go a second without thinking about you. I want you to be mine Rylie." Leo confessed to me.

"I want you to be mine too, Leo." I told as my heart raced from the feelings we have confessed to each other.

"Great so now it's official." Leo said to me with a smile.

"Yeah it is..." I agreed as a content feeling washed over me.

As we rode the Uber back to the beach house my phone rang in my pocket and I immediately picked up when I noticed it was my mom.

"Hey mama." I told her once I answered

"Hey baby, how's the trip going with your man." She said shorty before giggling.

I looked over to Leo in the car and couldn't help but smile, he kept his eyes focused on the scenery as we drove by.

"It's going great. We actually just left this amazing breakfast place. Now we're heading back to the house." I told her.

"That's nice. Im really happy for you baby. I know ever since Danny, it's been hard for you." My mother told me with sympathy.

I sighed deeply before answering her. "I know mama..."

"Well I won't hold you for too long, tell Leo I said hey." She said.

"I love you ma." I told her.

"Love you too, baby." My mother responded before hanging up.

I sighed contently before looking towards Leo.

"My mother said hi." I told him as I grabbed his hand.

Leo smiled at me before intertwining our fingers and bringing our hands to his lips.
