"What the hell, man? I thought we had a deal!"

I just finished with my diving class and I decided to go back to Empire. Aiden is in my room again. Naabutan ko siya na nakahiga sa couch ko. Seriously, I feel like we should switch rooms. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit gustung-gusto niyang tumambay sa kwarto ko, e may kwarto naman siya?

"What deal did we have?"

I can't help but roll my eyes.

"The one where I told you not to go here and in return I won't ask you anymore about your business?"

"We had a deal about that? I didn't know," he said nonchalantly.

Nairita ako sa sarkasmo ng tono niya. I just ignored him and went to my bathroom. I took my time inside, maybe an hour or so.

After a careful deliberation, I arrived with a decision. Aiden knows what happened with the Carodan clan. Gusto ko ring malaman iyon pero ayaw niyang sabihin hangga't hindi ko napapatunayan na pinagkakatiwalaan ko siya. I have no idea how I could ever prove that to him. Malamang hindi ko alam kasi hindi naman talaga ako nagtitiwala sa kanya. It's easier to prove the opposite. I can do it, no sweat.

I also thought that I shouldn't meddle. Gaano man ako kakuryoso, hindi iyon sapat na rason para pagkatiwalaan ko siya. I figured I'd just live normally, away from the two Cortells, and just do things on my own. Magpatuloy sa pagpapanggap habang nag-iimbestiga sa mga nangyayari. So far, I have no progress with that. Bukod sa wala akong resources, alam ni Aiden at Colton ang bawat galaw ko.

I've been tempted to leave Origen and just go back to Chicago. Pero may pakiramdam ako na lahat ng katanungan ko, masasagot lang kapag nanatili ako rito. As a spy, I have always listened to my instinct. It never failed me. So right now, I'm trusting it.

Kahapon ay lumipad papuntang Italy sina Iris at Maverick. Maverick is off to assume the position as the new head of their clan. Si Iris naman ay pangungunahan ang imbestigasyon sa nangyari sa pamilya. Aiden or Colton could just easily tell her what happened but I don't know why they won't do it. Dalawa lang ang pwedeng rason noon. It's either the Cortells are being careful or it's because they haven't figured out what really happened. Maybe Aiden was just bluffing when he said he knew already. I don't know. It's messy so I don't want to get involved.

"I have a favor to ask."

Damn it. Hindi pa rin siya umaalis? Nakaupo na siya ngayon at seryoso ang ekspresyon.

"Ano?"

"I'll be gone for a few days. Will you look after Colton?"

What's his deal? Is he asking me to babysit?

"Tss. Do I look like I wanted to look after you brother?"

"You can ask me anything you want in return."

"Wow. What an offer."

"I just need you to spend the next three days by Colton's side. Don't ever let him out of your sight."

"Nagbibiro ka ba? Bakit ako magbabantay ng bata? Colton can very well look after himself. Babysitting is not on the list of my abilities, sorry."

"I'll be out of Origen. I have to take care of some things. I need someone by Colton's side."

"Hmm so I'll be his bodyguard? You have men around. Bakit ako pa? Is he in danger?"

"He is always in danger."
