Enchanted

Origen is a school for the elite and dangerous. Sons and daughters of moneyed families who control high end cartels are sent here for protection. Bukod sa 'di sakop ng gobyerno ang paaralan ay malaya ring nakagagalaw ang mga tagapagmana dahil walang banta sa buhay nila kapag nasa loob ng Origen. Killing is prohibited, after all. This is a safe haven for them. At least that's what they think. Because the moment I enter this fortress, the life of one would be automatically in danger.

"Identification," sabi ng nakaabang na guard sa labas pa lang ng gate.

Hirap na hirap kami ni Natalia na matagpuan ang Origen. It's in the middle of the woods with nothing but big trees within a kilometer radius. It would've been much easier if we flew in dahil may air field naman sa east side but we can't do that.

Natalia gave our fake IDs and the guard scanned it. Danté made sure we're on the school's system.

"Nati Brooks and Nyssa Brooks?" tanong ng guard. We both nodded.

For this undercover mission, Natalia and I are to pretend as daughters of a big shot American mob leader with ties to anything black market. Hindi mahirap na ipalabas iyon dahil halos pareho ang features naming dalawa. We're both tall and we have the same build. Pareho ring itim ang mga mata at matangos ang ilong. The only defining difference between us two is our skin color and lip shape. Natalia's fairer while I'm morena. Her lips are plump while mine's heart-shaped.

"Go straight to the admin for orientation."

Marami ang dinaanan naming scanner. Danté anticipated it too. We have to be careful. Tanging damit lang ang laman ng mga bag namin ni Natalia. Everything that might give us away as spies are left on the sea.

"God, I'm too old for school," sabi ni Natalia habang tinatahak namin ang daan papunta sa admin office.

"Shut up. We're just 23 pretending to be 19 and 20. We're not that old."

Nilibot ko ang tingin sa paligid. This isn't just some school... this is a city! There are a lot of buildings and I'm sure as hell I saw a mall, a hospital and a club. Iyon pa lang ang naabot ng vision ko. What more if I roam around this whole place?

Mayroong ilang estudyante na napapalingon sa aming dalawa. It's not a surprise because we're new here and we transferred during the middle of the academic year. Nakapagtataka nga naman ang presensiya naming dalawa. Dagdagan pa na masyadong agaw pansin ang suot ni Natalia. While I'm just on my fashionable corporate attire, she's wearing her sultry backless dress and killer heels. Nagreklamo pa siya kanina na kung pwede lang ay brassiere at panty ang suotin niya dahil ang init init sa Pilipinas. Like me, she hasn't been in the country for years. Pareho kaming naninibago dahil nasanay sa temperatura sa ibang bansa.

"Tss. First thing I'll do is to find a hot fuck buddy so I'd be sated while we're here."

I laughed at her vulgar words. "Your business. Just don't get yourself in trouble."

"I know that by heart."

Naging madali ang paghahanap sa office. Bukod sa may mga signage naman ay saulo ko rin ang schematics. The ones Danté provided were incomplete, though. Wala roon ang mall at ospital na nakita ko 'di kalayuan. Makes me wonder what other secrets are buried here.

"Good afternoon," bati ng isang babae pag pasok namin sa opisina. According to the files, this woman named Helena Hernandez holds the highest position in Origen. Halata nga iyon dahil ang presensiya niya ay nagsusumigaw ng awtoridad.
