Elle's POV

I couldn't help it. He looked too good standing there a little drunk and trying to mark his territory like old times. I hated seeing the way that girl kept looking at him like she had a chance. I knew she didn't but I just wanted her to know she didn't.

So when I went up to Noah with the shots I made a last minute decision that would assure she understood exactly where she stood with Noah Flynn.

He stood there looking at me with his mouth agape. I looked around to see Lee making gagging sounds and Rachel shushing him. Jake looked like a proud baseball dad whose son just hit a home run, and Chloe was trying not to laugh at Noah's face. Tuppen was doing a slow clap from afar but most importantly the girls jaw was on the floor as she started texting away furiously on her phone. Good, she should let everyone know where I stand with Noah.

"All gone?" I asked Noah who was still looking at me intensely.

"Long gone," he said with a big smile.  "Good," I said simply backing away with a smile.

"Get a room," Lee joked behind me.

"Shut up Lee," I retorted. Lee threw a balled up napkin at Noah's face. Chloe and Rachel laughed.

"Never thought I'd see the great Flynn speechless," Chloe pinched Noah's cheek. He just rolled his eyes.

"God, I just love you guys together," Jake said throwing his arms around the two of us, pulling our heads into the chest.

"Are you guys back together?!" Rachel squealed.

I frowned and noticed Noah looking to me for the response. I could see Lee looking at me and even in his drunken state he could sense my uneasiness.

"ARCADE!" he just blurted out.

"What?" Rachel asked him annoyed at the interruption.

"Let's go to the arcade," He said getting up on his barstool, stumbling a little so that Rachel had to steady him. "It's been a while since I've kicked Elle's ass at DDR!" he said grabbing my arm with the hand that wasn't around Rachel.

I looked at him gratefully.

"What's DDR?" Chloe asked.

"Oh god here we go," Noah smiled as he paid the bar tab, tipping handsomely I was sure. He pointed at Marco across the room, "His are on me too okay?" as Brian nodded.

Lee and I both stopped in our tracks and looked to Chloe in complete shock. "What is DDR?" I asked dramatically.

"It's only the best game in the entire planet," Lee scoffed. "We'll show you the way Chloe don't worry."

"They've been obsessed with it since they were kids," Noah explained to Chloe. "It's a dance game they've always played."

I slipped my hand into his, surprising him. He gave a laugh at me already dancing around next to him.

"Its so much more than that!" I exclaimed. "You'll love it! Noah is awful at it though," I said and Noah frowned at me.

"I thought you were pretty much good at everything," Jake said.

I snorted. "In his dreams," I joked and he pinched my side and I squealed, running away from him.

I saw Lee and Rachel stop at Marco's table. "Meet you there," Marco said as he made eye contact with me. "You owe me a round, Elle," he gave me a nod. I smiled, "See you there MVP."

"Thanks for the drinks Flynn," Marco added looking at Noah who just gave him a nod. Their relationship was weird to me.

I couldn't help the little bit of guilt in the pit of my stomach thinking about one of the last times Marco and I did DDR, at the west coast competition we joined together.
