Chapter Eight: Bad Dream

Eleanor was back in the same cold room. Wearing a pair of black pants, her black shoes paired with navy blue socks, and a sweater and jacket on top. She figured, at first, that she was alone, however the hissing sound made itself notable. Eleanor felt her knees weaken as she fell to ground an aching headache starting to form. She felt like her brain was splitting in two, as a small whimper escaped her mouth. The small whimper turned into a scream.

The room was filled with shelves that were lined up with blue colored orbs. Eleanor knew this room from her other nightmare. Suddenly flashes went through Eleanor's mind, all of her memories passing through her brain.

Her and Hermione meeting for the first time on the Hogwarts Express. Introducing herself to Harry and Ron. Being sorted into Ravenclaw. Becoming friends with Cho Chang. Drinking tea with Hagrid. Trying to fly and broom and breaking her arm. Learning about Sirius. Going to the Yule Ball with George and wearing a golden dress. Her, Cedric, and Cho studying in the library. Holding Cho as Cedric's dead body came into view. Her and Hermione spending nights together. Ginny telling her all the gossip that she's heard. Fred and George's prank. Her mother and father both kissing her cheeks, as she had cake plastered all over her face. Her Uncle Theo laughing at her. Seeing Draco Malfoy at Diagon Alley. Her and Draco laughing during their patrols.

Everything raced through Eleanor's mind, as she woke up covered in cold sweat. The room was dark, as Nala purred changing her sleeping position. The curtains around her bed were pulled so none of her roommates were able to see her. These nightmares were seeming to get stranger and stranger. Eleanor decided to go to Madame Pomfrey and ask for a Dreamless Draught, so that she would not be able to dream anymore. Eleanor felt a headache coursing from the back of her. It was only Monday, and she had Defense Against the Darks Arts with Umbridge. Eleanor was sure that this was not going to help her headache at all.

After an hour of laying her bed, Eleanor got up and decided to get ready. She took a quick shower, not bothering to wash her hair and got dressed in her uniform. It was already too late for breakfast, and Eleanor figured that after class she would go see Pomfrey. Eleanor quickly made her way towards the class and saw that a majority of the students were already seated. Hermione looked over at her, confusion written all over her face. It wasn't like Eleanor to arrive to class a minute before started. Eleanor kept her head down and walked over to her seat, Draco Malfoy giving her the same confused face.

Eleanor hadn't had time to check her reflection, because she had bags under her eyes, her face pale as snow, and there was a small notable limp in her step.

"Edwards, are you feeling okay?" Draco whispered to her, watching her take a seat next to him. Eleanor hummed in response and opened her book. Her headache seemed to be getting worse. "Eleanor, you look pale." This time Draco used Eleanor's first name, as she slowly blinked trying to process everything. Eleanor nodded her head and found it useful to lean against the blonde. From across the room, Harry, Hermione, and Ron all shared worried glances at one another before looking back at their friend.
