Chapter Thirteen: Holiday Festive
November was coming to an end and there was a lot of things that was changing. There was something different about the Holiday seasons that made Eleanor smile widely and greet nearly every person she passed. It smelled like vanilla in the Ravenclaw Common Room with many students drinking hot chocolate while studying always set the mood perfect. Eleanor enjoyed sitting by the windows so she could see the night sky while drinking her cup of hot chocolate while finishing her Potions essay. The nightmares were still coming, however they seemed to have stopped for the past two weeks which kept Eleanor on the edge. She had no idea what to expect the next time she would have her nightmares. On the other end, she had been meeting Draco Malfoy on multiple occasions, secretly kissing each other when no one was looking, or brushing past each other in the corridors. Eleanor still didn't like it when he would make fun of Harry or Hermione or Ron, but every time she would tell him, he would tell her that if he changed his behavior, people would notice. However, one seemingly small questioned nagged Eleanor's brain almost every night, if her and Draco were actually dating, as in boyfriend and girlfriend?
Dumbledore's Army was also a good distraction from everything that Umbridge was changing. If she wasn't out patrolling the halls, she would hang out in the Room of Requirement. Eleanor found it fun that everyone was starting to bond together. Fred and George would sneakily perform spells on the other members and quickly turn around, which would make Eleanor start laughing. Everyone was slowly starting to get the hang of the spells and how to properly defend themselves.
Eleanor was personally excited to go back home for the Holidays, her Mother had told her that they were all spending Christmas together with the Order which meant that Harry and Ron were going to be there resulting in Eleanor having people her own age meeting her for Christmas. She didn't spend the last Christmas with her parents due to the Yule Ball, and Christmas was always fun when Theo showed up. According to her Uncle Theo, he was having a blast with Tonks and the two felt like long lost best friends, which made Eleanor even more excited about spending the holidays with the two. Hermione had told Eleanor that she was going on a trip with her parents and that she would try to come before school started to visit Eleanor so the two girls could exchanged their gifts for one another.
Eleanor also heard from her Mother that a few days after Christmas there was to be a Ball held by the Ministry, to which her entire family was invited. A part of her was excited all due to the fact that she would see Draco over the holidays. When she had told him during their patrols, the pair came up with a small plan to meet in secret and have their moment together. Eleanor knew that her Mother wouldn't dare let her too close to the Malfoy or any other Slytherin as a matter of fact.
It was already the last day before leaving for Hogwarts and Eleanor couldn't help but sing out Christmas songs all through the corridors, occasionally Harry joining her. Currently, she was walking down down the halls. Classes were over and Eleanor couldn't help look forward to the Feast that night. Hermione had already informed of her the last D.A. meeting for the night where everyone would be meeting for the last night before holidays. Everyone seemed to be in a cheery mood overall, even the professors.
Dinner was just about to start as Eleanor found her way to the Ravenclaw table. Passing by Fred and George, Eleanor reached out and ruffled their hairs making the twins look back and attempt to catch her, but Eleanor had already skipped away. Her hair was pinned back, as her robes flowed behind her. She took a seat in her usual spot as she greeted the other Ravenclaws around her.
"Good evening students, tonight is the last night before some of you depart to your families, so let have us a wonderful feast." Dumbledore spoke as he stood from his seat and the food appeared on the tables. Eleanor looked around, a bright smile on her face as she grabbed a piece of chicken accompanied by some pasta on her plate.

Completely and utter full with food, Eleanor wondered how she was going to even climb the stairs, however she had finally made to the Room of Requirement, with the help of the Weasley twins, who watched with amusement as she hung off George's back, nearly half asleep with all the food in her stomach.
"You're becoming like Ron, I swear." George commented, which made his younger brother look back at him in confusion.
"The feast was just too good tonight Georgie." Eleanor mumbled out. As the group walked into the Room of Requirement, it was completely decorated with Christmas lights and a banners that spelled out HAVE A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS! Eleanor jumped off of George and looked around the room, the holiday cheerfulness instantly waking her up. Harry stood in front of the group as he looked around the room as well.
"I thought this evening we should just go over the things we've done so far, because it's the last meeting before the holidays and there's no point starting anything new right before a three-week break." Everyone nodded along as they all paired up with each other. Eleanor decided to pair up with Ron. "We'll start with the Impediment Jinx, just for ten minutes, then we can get out the cushions and try Stunning again."
Practice had gone well, and as it was ending everyone wished each other a good holiday. Eleanor looked down at her watch, seeing it was almost time for her to meet her secret rendezvous. Eleanor walked over to Cho, who was staring at picture that was posted on the mirror, something that Eleanor had suggested. Post something that would motivate you, and a picture was Cedric Diggory was posted along with an old picture of the Order.
"Hey, Cho. I'm going to catch up with you later alright." Eleanor spoke, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. Cho nodded her head before giving her friend a soft smile.
Eleanor walked out of the Room of Requirement, making her way towards the Astronomy Tower, where she knew her lover was waiting for her. Climbing up the stairs, Eleanor couldn't help but admire Draco as he stood there. He was still wearing his school robes, his back to her. His hair seemed to shine against the darkness of the night. Eleanor smiled to herself before walking over to him. She wrapped her arms around his back, lacing them in the front and pressing her face against his back. She could feel his muscles tightening against her, but relaxing a moment later. Draco pulled her to the front, the first thing in his mind was pulling Eleanor in. He cupped her face and leaned out, kissing her. Eleanor rounded her arms around his waist as she kissed back.
"Hey." She smiled as they pulled away. "I probably won't see you much tomorrow. But I'll see you at the Ministry party." Eleanor spoke, her hand lacing with his. Draco nodded his head.
"Maybe- uh- we could meet on the train. You know have a small moment together." Draco suggested. Eleanor thought about it, she was just be sitting with Hermione, Harry, and all the Weasleys. She nodded her head and leaned against his chest.
"I suppose we could." Eleanor looked out at the castle. "I never truly realize how beautiful Hogwarts is. It's truly wonderful." Eleanor, then, looked at the sky. "Look, you could see the stars, that one there is Scorpius. I really do like that one." Draco looked in the direction that Eleanor was pointing in, but she changed direction. "But that one is my new favorite." Draco now looked in this new direction and smiled.
