Chapter Twelve: Nightmares

The room was dark and cold. Eleanor felt tears swell in her eyes as she remembered this place from her nightmares. Eleanor looked through the shelves, the blue orbs were shining through. There was a small hissing sound, and Eleanor looked up at the shelf. She felt that familiar feeling in her chest that felt as life she was caving in. Wearing the same clothes from other nightmares, Eleanor wondered aimlessly around the dark room.

"Come to me, my heir. Come to me."

Eleanor woke up in cold sweat. She felt weak but it was not like the last time she had the nightmare. Pulling the blanket off of her, Eleanor walked to the bathroom and took a shower. She made a mental note to go to Madam Pomfrey and get a Draught so that she would be able to function the whole day.

Leaving the Ravenclaw Tower, Eleanor thought back to when she felt came to Hogwarts. She was so excited to receive her Hogwart's letter. She was raised her whole life as a pureblood, but to always be kind to others. Smiling at the memories of arriving to Hogwarts.

Thomas Edwards followed his wife, Evelyn Edwards as they placed each hand on their daughter's shoulder as they walked through Platform Nine and Three Quarters. Eleanor was excited to go to Hogwarts, but at the same time she was completely scared if she would find any friends or not. As the family of three arrived at the platform, Eleanor held her parents hands very tightly. Her blue eyes looking around as best as she could, in search for her Uncle Theo. He told her that he would be there for her first day. A small smile came on her lips as she spotted her Uncle. Letting go of her parents, Eleanor ran towards her Uncle, jumping into his arms.

"Hey little bunny!" Theodore greeted. Eleanor wrapped her little arms around his neck. Theodore realized that his niece was terrified. He gently placed her back on the ground, before kneeling on the ground to face her. "You're going to do fantastic in Hogwarts. Nelly, you're so smart, smarter than I was, no doubt you'll be Ravenclaw, just like your mommy." Theodore brushed the hair out of her face and smiled at her. Eleanor felt a little bit of relief, as her parents approached her.

"Nelly, you are a wonderful girl. You're going to do just fine." Thomas Edwards spoke to his daughter. He wrapped his arms around his daughter, as he embraced her. "And you'll see us during Christmas, and Theo would be with us this year." Eleanor looked at her Uncle, who nodded his head. Evelyn came over to her daughter.

"Remember what I told you, just be yourself. Be kind to others, and enjoy your first year. Study hard, my baby. I'll write to you as much as I can. I love you so much Eleanor. I love you." Evelyn placed a tender kiss on Eleanor's forehead as she hugged her daughter. Eleanor smiled at her family before stepping up on the Hogwarts Express. Eleanor didn't really have any friends, other than the ones that she would meet at the Ministry parties, if she ever went. Her parents would hardly take her with them and would leave her with her Uncle Theo.
