A couple scientists were ordered to examine plants that were recently found by soldiers during an exploration. There were four scientists in total, usually soldiers would only be allowed out, but this was definitely the job for science, they were not allowed to be brought into the city. These plants were flower like, black and lavender mixed with a little bit of dark orange.
One scientist ripped out one of the plants which caused an immediate response from the rest, they closed their mouths and the scientists could feel sudden vibration underneath them. After a few seconds, the plants all opened back up only to spray the men with a liquid that began melting at their flesh, soldiers found them only nine hours later.
