KC POV
Aleah's birthday is a month after mine and I wanted to get her a really good gift. But then I had a thought of something that everyone could get her and she would be so happy. "Mom what happened to Aleah's dad she never talks about it." I said. "When she was 7 her dad left her and her brother with her mom and he hasn't come back since." my mom said. I was astonished. Who could do something so horrible? It was probably to late to get them to meet again so I scratched that idea- maybe for her 18th birthday. I ended up getting her a llama hat. I know how much she loves them and I found them on a website called districtlines.com. It was a cool hat but I felt like I recognized the names of the people who owned the products. Danisnotonfire and Amazingphil... They sounded so familiar but I probably didn't know them. The next morning I ran to Aleah's house and wished her a happy birthday. "Haha oh my god this is awesome thanks KC!" She said. Then we spent the day at the beach.
ALEAH POV
Me and KC were on the pier when we heard two men by the names of Dan Howell and Phil Lester were coming to LA for a meet up. "I don't know them, can I see a picture?" I asked the lady shouting about it. "Of course of course of course!" She said. Suddenly I saw it. "KC KC KC!" "What what what do you want?" She said. I laughed. "Them they are the guys I saw at vidcon." I said. "YOU SAW DAN AND PHIL AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!" she said. "I didn't know them." I said. She rushed me back to her house where our moms were sitting and begged if we could go. "Do you even know these men?" KC's mom said. "Yes they are the best youtubers ever I will even show Aleah some videos I promise she will love them please can we go?!" KC begged. "Well it's okay with me if its ok with Aleah's mom I guess it would be up to her, she doesn't know them that well and it is her birthday." Her mom said. My mom agreed and immediately we watched a bunch of there videos. The fringe, the cat whiskers, the sexy end screen dance, I loved them within seconds. And I couldn't wait for this meet up. That night we had cake and I went home to my older brother, Jack. He's 3 years older than me and just finishing high school. "Happy birthday dork brain." He said. "Thanks that means so much." I said sarcastically. "We got along pretty well but we fought over stuff like the bathroom and the Xbox. "Lets go have fun." he said. "You and me? Doing what?" I said. "I'll show you what's really fun." "Can you tell me what that is?" I said. "Waking up the neighbors by blasting music is hilarious. Let's do that." he said. "You want to drive around and disturb the neighbors at 10:00 at night?" I said. "Yes." He said. "I'm in." I said giggling. So then we had about 5 old people come out and try to catch us. It was hilarious. When we got back to the house I fell right asleep. I had a dream about Dan and Phil. I couldn't wait to meet them but it was 5 days away. When I woke up I realized that now I'm 15. I can drive. I was so excited to learn drivers Ed because I realized the class is next month. I could go anywhere now as long as I had an adult in the passenger seat. Not my mom, Jack. Because he's more fun. And he's 18. That day I thought about my dad. He left when I was 7 and he never came back. one day... I'll see him again. I thought to myself. Then I watched some Danisnotonfire and went on with my day.
