KC POV
Me and aleah ended up going back to California, I couldn't just leave my life back in California like that. But I still wanted to be with Dan. Maybe I needed to just talk to my mom. I fell asleep thinking about it on the plane ride home. When we landed I was too tired to get a taxi so aleah called her brother. When I woke up the next morning it was saturday and I decided to talk to my mom. "Hey mom." I started.
"Yeah?"
"Can we talk for a minute?" I asked
"Sure honey what's on your mind?"
"Well, Dan asked me if I wanted to finish school in London and I don't know I kinda wanted to go." Well it was out now, and my mom just looked in shock.
"Moving to London?"
"Well yeah." I said.
"You are 16! Absolutely not!" She shouted.
"Mom why not! I'm gonna be an adult soon!" I was startled by her reaction.
"In 2 years! That is not soon! You can't go off on your own! I mean just for some, some BOY!" She was screaming now.
"He is not some boy! I love him mom! This wouldn't be a mistake I'm ready for it!"
"And what if you break up?! Huh?! Then your stuck in London alone no money or anything! I don't wanna see you like that."
"Mom that's not gonna happen okay!" I was screaming too now.
"Well you can say whatever you want because it's not happening." She started to turn away from me when I lost it.
"IM 16 YOU CANT KEEP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!" Uh oh. I wish I had kept my mouth shut but I was too angry.
"Excuse me?!" She said.
"You know what I will go to London and I'll live with Dan and finish school! I can make my own decisions I don't need you treating me like a baby!" I ran up the stairs and slammed my door. And I immediately called Dan. My mother kept pounding on the door so we could talk but I was fed up.
"Hello?" Dan sounded groggy, I realized it was late there.
"Dan?"
"Yes?"
"I'm coming back to London." I said.
"Your what?" He sounded surprised.
"I'm coming back, I'm gonna finish school and live with you." I had made my decision. I loved Dan and I needed him.
"Are you sure about this? You don't have to." He said.
"Yes. I'm sure. Im fine with it, I have a credit card I'll buy a ticket and be in London probably about 3pm your time." I hung up and started to pack. Then I ran out the door and called a taxi. My mother always told me to get a ride away from your house, so they wouldn't know where you live. So you could be safe. I didn't care right now. I wanted out of here. I called the cab and said goodbye to Aleah while I waited. "Hey." She said as she opened the door. I was on the verge of tears. And she could see it too. "KC what's wrong?" She asked. Hot tears started spilling out. "I'm going back to London." I said between sobs. "What do you mean your going back to London?" She asked worried. "I mean I'm going back to finish school and live with Dan. I've made my decision. And I'm leaving in about 5 minutes." Then Aleah started crying. "What?! How could you do this to me! Why didn't you tell me!" I could see the pain in her eyes. "I just decided. I got mad at my mom and I need to be independent." I explained. She calmed down and looked more understanding. "Oh." She said. "I'm so sorry. I'll call you every day I promise. But I just came to say goodbye. Tell Abby for me. I don't have time." I saw the taxi cab roll up my driveway. "I have to go." I said. I started crying again. Aleah was too. I gave her a big hug and when I turned to look at her she smiled. "Have fun in London." I hugged her one last time and left. I was still crying in the taxi cab but this was my decision. This is what I wanted. When I landed in London I was so happy. Dan gave me a hug and looked ecstatic. "This is gonna be great!" He said. "Yeah." I said with a smile. I was excited to start my life here. And I knew how I wanted to start it, a youtube channel.
