I've heard the question probably more times than i would like.
Probably save my dead dog.
"What would you do if you could go in the future?"
Probably save someone from dying.

I thought as I opened my eyes.

                           June 27th

The faint sound of alarm reached my ears. It was 4 am. I don't remember putting an alarm for that time. I rubbed my eyes a little and reached out to stop my alarm. I pressed the stop button and closed my eyes again. I didn't want to wake up that early but my sleep vanished. I turned to the other side where there was a poster of Jeon Jungkook. Suddenly I felt tears running down my face.

I sniffed hard to stop them from coming. But they end up falling any ways. My body stiffened. The feeling was always there as I saw him. But why was I crying though? I got up and rubbed my eyes hard. I wiped the tears and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. I brushed my teeth and took a cold shower. It was summer. I get out of the shower and head to my bedroom. I shivered slightly as I sat down to dry my hair.

The sun was just rising as I saw the light streaks of sunlight coming through my window. Twilight. I read about miraculous things that happens in twilight. I got up and pushed the curtains and opened my windows. A light breeze welcomed me. The soft rays of sunlight fell on my face.

I closed my eyes a bit to absorb the beautiful feeling that engulfed me. I opened my eyes as fresh salty water started to come out again. I wiped them and headed back to my mirror and got ready. It was 6 am by the time I got fully ready. My classes started at 9 am. I thought of making a nice breakfast for myself.

I made myself toast and eggs and a nice cup of coffee and headed towards my balcony to eat while enjoying the sun for a bit.
Bangalore looked so peaceful during the day. I sat on the chair and finished my breakfast.

I sat there for a while watching the street get busy slowly slowly.

"You woke up so fast again?" I heard my roommate say as she emerged in the balcony yawning.

I smiled at her. "Couldn't sleep properly."

She raised an eyebrow. "When do you ever sleep properly?"

I laughed slightly. "Go get ready we'll be late."

She got up. "Give me half an hour."

"Sure." I said and started enjoying the view again.

We reached college. I headed to my class. I was taking psycology major in university.

The class was still empty as I got there. I heard a new professor was coming in today. I was excited for what he had stored for us. The class started to get full now. I sat on my seat as I waited for my friend Krish to arrive. He saw me and made his way towards me. He sat down and slapped me on my hand.

"Ouch." I said rubbing my arm. "What was that for?"

"Just felt like that." He said and smirked. I rolled my eyes at him. Even though it didn't tick my nerve I didn't feel like saying it to him. He didn't need to know anyway.
The new professor came in resulting in scurrying of notebooks across the room. The room feel silent. As if we were anticipating every word he's going to say. He looked quite strange. He didn't look abnormal but he didn't seem normal as well. I couldn't put my finger on it yet. He was unnecessary bright for the gloomy place that we live in. We are not used to having such professor so it was quite a change.
