As he expected, Jungkook suddenly stiffened.

So he parted away from the hug to look at Jungkook in the face. But surprisingly, there was a smile on his face. But when he looked Jungkook in the eyes his confidence slightly wavered before it came to a solid position. Maybe Jungkook's tongue could lie, but not his eyes.

" Mnn ? "

" I stayed the night in my car. " That is what he said. Jimin narrowed his eyes at him, turning his head to the side a little. Knowing that he wasn't willing to take it as an answer, Jungkook added " I was mad and frustrated, I just didn't want to get back to the apartment again. I- I just didn't want to, okay ? It was best for me to sleep there. And don't worry, the car was parked in the parking lot the whole night. "

As improbable as it sounds, Jimin didn't believe it. He just felt that something wasn't right, but there was nothing for him to argue against the younger.

" Oh, really Jungkook ? " he asked back, with a distrusting tone.

" I just couldn't get any sleep, okay ? I thought a lot last night and finally decided that I should tell you the truth. It is as simple as that ", Jungkook said with a sigh at the beginning.

Jimin was in a battle whether to believe his words or not. He couldn't trust everything just because Jungkook says them. Plus there was something out of place at the way Taehyung treated him before, and Jimin was the one who knew how much Taehyung wanted him and Jungkook to be together but when they finally became a one, there was not the right reaction that Jimin was expecting from Taehyung. Wasn't it enough to say that there was something else ?!

But for the moment, he decided to put an act by shrugging his shoulders and accepting Jungkook's answer with a " Right then. " It would be a waste of time to try and pull out words from his mouth that won't ever come out.

For that small amount of time even, the spirit they had seemed to have lowered. And Jungkook also seemed to be having a struggle to come up with another topic to brighten up the mood.

And then something clicked on Jimin's mind.

He shifted a little on Jungkook's lap, and fished the phone out of his jean's pocket when Jungkook loosened the hold on his waist to let him move his limbs around freely.

The boy stared at him with puzzled eyes when Jimin hurriedly went through his gallery, searching for a specific photo.

" What is it Jimin ? "

" I'm looking for a selfie. " He replied to the other, still scrolling down through the bunch of photos. And he had to scroll to the bottom to find it, since it was taken more than four years ago.

Finally when he found it, he felt relieved. And when Jimin looked up to see Jungkook's face, he was craning his head to the side to get a better look at the screen. Seeing his awful position Jimin turned the phone to his side and let him hold it.

Jungkook's confused look was immediately replaced with a bright smile that spread across his face, his neatly arranged teeth becoming visible to Jimin's eyes.

" This is -" , but as he spoke Jungkook finished the rest of the sentence, " - our first photo together ? "

Jimin was quite surprised to find him to remember that photo, so he couldn't help but ask " You remember it ? "

And then the boy nodded, refusing to take his eyes away from the screen. Jimin felt how his heart melted, seeing how Jungkook's doe eyes roamed around the screen absorbing every single detail in it. Maybe Jungkook felt nostalgic all of a sudden, maybe he remembered their memories one by one.
