Jungkook was running away from him.

What was he so afraid of ? The truth that he couldn't see Jimin with another ? The truth that he wants Jimin all to himself ? But could he actually blame Jimin for what he did ? He had no right to.

And he was lying again. Jungkook knew Jimin better to think what happened last night. He knew clearly that Jimin loves him not Yoongi. But the anger and jealousy in him took the best of him where he didn't know anything else to do but blame Jimin.

How could he expect anything from Jimin when he always hurt him enough to get him killed anyway ? Jungkook was the best definition for a failure. All he wanted for Jimin was safety and a better life without him. But all was falling apart, crashing through the safe net that Jungkook wove by himself between them, the cruel fate as usual, getting on his way.

Huh, do you know how hard it is to do the wrong thing when you exactly know that it is indeed wrong? Well, for Jungkook, it always pained.

He didn't expect to find Jimin at all when he went to Yoongi's house but since he found him, he knew he should go back to Jimin. If he didn't, the hours he wasted in the night in deep thoughts would all be wasted.

So, Jungkook grabbed the steering wheel more tightly as he turned the car around with the same velocity he was driving. He didn't even look at the road. Good for him that the place was isolated.

Jungkook's heart throbbed and he was nervous above all. What was he going to say to Jimin? What was he going to do? He didn't plan anything beforehand since he didn't expect this encounter at all. All Jungkook wanted was to confess. Because of last night, if Jimin ever wanted to leave him, that was enough for him to do that. And he knew that Jimin was almost giving up on his life and he was the only savior. His Jimin's savior.

'I can save you.'

He may have gone too far than he thought that it took him some time to reach Jimin and he slowed when his concerned eyes spotted Jimin walking along the side with his eyes downcast, such slow steps while he looked deep in thought. A huge weight on Jungkook's shoulders seemed to have disappeared when he saw him. It was reassuring, just the sight of him.

He looked up when Jungkook pulled up the car, blocking his way. Jimin looked confused and his eyes glistened in a way Jungkook couldn't quite decipher when he lowered the window screen. Jimin may've not expected him at all, that much he could guess.

" Why did you turn back, Kook- Jungkook ? ", and Jungkook's heart sank at that. That one word slipped out from Jimin's tongue but he quickly changed it, just 'jungkook' with no warmth in it. 'Is he pushing me away?'. Jimin had every right to do so. But he shouldn't let Jimin do that.

Not again, he wouldn't turn away again and he won't let Jimin either.

" I'll take you, hop in ", he said instead, being careful not to meet the elder's eyes. Even Jungkook himself couldn't believe the drastic change of his own actions and he could only expect amazent from the other that doubts his every action. Jimin let out a laugh stating more like mocking himself, " It's fine, I'll walk. You don't want a slut in your car, right? "

Automatically Jungkook's eyes suddenly shot up to find Jimin's face loosing all the glow in it.

'Noo--- wait, what ? Is that what you think ? Noo, I would never-- never think like that about you.'

Jimin looked guilty. " Ji-Jimin, what are you talking about ? ", he had to muster all the courage he had left to look Jimin in the eye and to say what he needed the other to know. " Listen, I said I'm really sorry for being such a dickhead. And- and I know that nothing makes sense to you now, I know. But- "
