I killed a girl's brother

PERCY'S POV:

I jabbed Riptide towards Mickey but before it even came close to his chest, I heard the clang of metal on metal and my sword flew out of my hand flying high in the air and clanging somewhere in the forest. 

I whipped towards The Girl, my eyes wide with shock. The Girl now had a double sided scythe in her hand. Her weapons blade was made of celestial bronze, and the staff part was a deep sea blue with silver ancient markings on it. I could just make out the lettering and I realized that it read Zale. What kinda weapon is named Zale? 

I was about to shout at her WHAT THE HADES!!, but before I could she rammed into me sending us both flying back several feet. I grunted as my head smashed onto the ground and I grunted louder as The Girl topaled on top of me. "Owwww!!" I grunted in a strained voice.

"You idiot!" The Girl growled. She used my face to get up, and glared at me. What was with this Girl?! She opened her mouth as if to yell at me more, but she was interrupted by the sound of Mickey roaring in outrage and smashing sounds.

 I scrambled to my feet and we both turned to see Annabeth and Mickey playing a deadly game of tag. Annabeth was running around Mickey with her dragon bone sword, trying to avoid his club while searching for an opening.

"No no no." The Girl said, running towards the battling pair. "Stop!"

But neither of them did.

I reached in my pocket and found Riptide waiting for me. I uncapped it and yelled in defiance and charged towards the cyclops. I had to get Mickey's attention away from Annabeth and The Girl. Even if The Girl didn't want it. 

For better or worse I did get Mickey's attention. He gave me a hideous toothy grin and kept his club at the ready, waiting for me to make the first move. I heard a thump and I risked a glance at the direction I last saw Annabeth. 

I saw her limp on the ground with the black hair Girl standing over her, her arm extended as though she touched Annabeth's shoulder. Anger flared through my body. Seriously what was wrong with this girl? NO ONE touches my Wise Girl. Nobody. 

The Girl turned towards me and I saw in her green eyes...sadness... and what, guilt? It didn't matter. NO ONE touches my Wise Girl. I stalked towards the cyclops. With my body shaking with anger and I sped into a sprinted towards the cyclops and before he could react or before The Girl could even finish screaming no. I slashed Riptide across Mickey's stomach.

With a wail he disintegrated into gold dust. I kicked the dust causing the remains of Mickey to fly away into the wind. "What did you just do!!" The Girl screamed at me. She marched towards me. In any other situation I would have scrambled away from her. Her face was full of anger and the scythe in her gleamed in a way that made my skin crawl. But at the moment I was just as angry as she was.

"I could ask you the same thing!!" I screamed back "What is your deal. Those monsters just tried to eat you and instead of defending yourself, you named them?! And when 'Mickey' tried to squash you into a pancake, I tried to save your little behind, and instead you disarmed me and almost got us both killed! THEN you while my girlfriend was trying to save both of us, you do THAT!!" he gestured angrily toward Annabeth. I itched to run to her aid to make sure she was breathing but I was the only thing between her and this Girl, and I didn't want to end up with a scythe in my back so I kept my eyes focused on The Girl. 

Her features screamed anger but her eyes glanced towards and her green eyes flickered with guilt. "I didn't want to hurt her. But when I told her to back off because I didn't want her to kill Mickey. But obviously she refused so I had to do something. I just did The Vagus Strike on her, so she is unconscious, not dead. She should wake up a bit" The Girl walked towards Mickey abandoned club, and placed her hand on it. She lowered her head and in a barely audible voice she said "What am I going to tell Bernard?" the sadness in her voice made me feel slightly guilty.
