This is how I imagine Mogwai looking. Happy reading!

The girls POV

Yeah...I'm the mystery girl everyone is talking about. And like them you are probably wondering why I haven't told you my name yet after all this time. Well there is this whole thing that if I share my name with someone then they know who I am. Well obviously that's how names work.

What I mean is that in the demigod world I have a code name, and that name is pretty well known. So I avoid using it. Plus I hate my code name, it makes me sound like some ancient spirit that comes after you in the middle of the night. But now that I think about it, I am pretty sure that's what they were going for.

I actually have another name that was given to me that I love, I can count on both of my hands how many people know it. And I want to keep it that way.

So yeah back to me running.

I was racing through a camp bumping into people trying to find my wolf/dog, Mogwai. The boy that I ran into told me Mogwai was in the arena. So that is where I was heading. I wasn't a hundred percent sure he was telling the truth when he gave me directions. I mean he went to this camp, maybe he was leading me into a trap, but I didn't get that vibe.

I am really good at reading people and he didn't give me any reason not to trust him. Plus he seemed nice. He was maybe six foot. He had dark short wavy hair. A cream colored face, but it was hard to tell by all the shoot and oil on him. He was obviously a son of Hephaestus.

I was still wearing his sweatshirt. I wasn't actually cold when I asked him for it. I noticed it was the same bright orange color that I saw on a lot of campers. So I knew that wearing it would draw less attention. Plus the oil and soot from it covered my face so I could blend in more.

My plan seemed to be working because no one even gave me a second glance. I finally made it to the arena. I prayed to the gods that it was empty, but of course it wasn't.

There was a blonde boy in a purple shirt with a sword in his hands. Great.

His back was too me because he was facing Mogwai, whose teeth were bared and fur was sticking up. His eyes flickered to me and he wanged his tail a bit before growling even more fiercely.

The boy noticed and turned to me. He had a scar above his lip and electric blue eyes. My back burned when I looked at them and I forcefully shoved back bad memories. My eyes flickered to his arm. It was the marking of a roman officer. Even better.

"You shouldn't be here. It's not safe." the boy said

He clearly didn't know who I was. Good, for real this time. Maybe I could leave peacefully. I racked my brain for an excuse for him to leave.

"Um I was sent to get you. Piper asked to see you." I had no idea if they knew each other. But he loosed his grip on his sword and his eyes widened
