Killua walks his way home after parting ways with Gon at the intersection. The feeling of butterflies is still in his stomach from their early getaway.

He walks silently for about ten minutes before he finds himself in the upperclass area of town. His family owns the largest mansion on the island. One of many that they own all over the world.

He puts his hand on the scanner at the front gate, and it runs his prints through its system before letting him in. There's an unfamiliar overly fancy car parked in the long driveway. Killua walks inside to see Ikalgo chatting with his parents.

Killua smiles. He's got a lot to tell his new friend. "Ikalgo!"

Ikalgo and the older Zoldycks turn around to see Killua walking inside. Ikalgo grins. "Killua!"

The parents smile, and leave the two alone. Killua beckons for Ikalgo to follow him into his room.

"Alright, you're overly happy. What happened??" Ikalgo sits criss cross on Killua's bed, his grin beaming.

Killua sighs, flopping into his bed. "We skipped class and went to his aunt's bakery." He smiles like an idiot when he recalls the event. "We got shakes, cupcakes, truffles. We talked. It was amazing."

Ikalgo smiles, and he lays back with his hands behind his head. "So, what's this guy's name? Is he straight or what?"

"Gon Freecss. And no, he's gay." Killua smiles like a lovesick idiot.

Ikalgo grins. "Well, I'd say you should go for it. Let's look at the facts. He's gay. He's constantly spending time with you. He had you sleep at his house. He introduced you to his family. He skips school with you to go to a bakery and spoils you, which in most people's eyes would be considered a date. All within a week and a half of first meeting you. Even best friends usually take a few months before introducing eachother to their families. Sometimes longer, or never. But you know who you would introduce to your family so soon? Someone you've got romantic interests in."

"I'm planning on it. But I don't want to do it too soon." Killua groans. "Plus there's that stupid promise I made him."

"What promise?"

"I have to confess to whoever I've got feelings for by the end of the semester." Killua whines.

Ikalgo cackles. "I've gotta meet this guy sometime. You reaaaaaalllyyy like him. Plus, thanks to him you're alive."

"Well... you could come with us to get some fast food sometime." Killua suggests, tapping his chin.

"Fast food?!" Ikalgo's mouth drops. "That'd be awesome! I've never had fast food before!"

"Same until Gon took me!" Killua grins. "It's so good!"

"Alright, text me whenever you guys are going next. My parents are totally fine with me doing anything so long as it's with you." Ikalgo grins.

"Yeah! Totally!"

- After School The Next Day -

"Oi, Gon?" Killua asks after school.

"Yeah?"

"Is there something going on between Kurapika and Leorio??"

Gon chokes on his vending machine soda.

"Ahaha... ha..." Gon rubs the back of his neck, a nervous habit that Killua's noticed. "Well... Leorio kinda confessed to Kurapika a while ago. The feeling was mutual, but it turns out, Pika is ace. And Y'know, it didn't work out. Leorio has a sex drive that Pika doesn't. So they broke up on friendly terms."
