I was too cruel with the last chapter. So here's the next one XD.
"Killua?" I shake his limp body that lay in our bed. "Killuaaaaaaa we have to get to schoooooolllll~ We're meeting with Kalluto afterwards, remember~?"
He doesn't move.
I'm starting to get worried. "Killua. Get up. Killua? Killua!" I shake him harder. Then I pull him up into a sitting position. "Killua!"
His eyes start to open. Then they snap when we make eye contact. He pulls me into an embrace and he holds tight. His arms are shaking, but his grip is strong nonetheless.
"Killua..?" I hug him back. "Killua what's wrong? Did you have another nightmare?"
He nods against my shoulder. These nightmares have been all too common. I can't help but think that it may be my fault.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"N.. no. Just- just stay here. With me. Please." Killua sobs. Those sobs break down every wall within me.
How can I help him?
How do I relieve him of this burden?
I sigh, running my hands through his hair as I hold him. I kiss his forehead and rub small circles on his mid back. "I'm not going anywhere."
Killua nods. He takes a few deep, shaky breaths before pulling away. He calms himself down. "Sorry."
"Don't be. I'll always be here for you."
Killua smiles. A genuine smile, the type that gets me all warm and fuzzy inside. "Yeah. Thanks. Anyways, we gotta get ready for school." He shifts on the covers of the bed and gets up. He leaves the room swiftly, heading to the shower.
I decide that I don't really need a shower. I'll take one after school. After the meet up at the library. So instead I just get up and change into a black tank top and fitting baby blue jeans. I like these jeans a lot, they're very fitted to my form, highlighting all the best parts, and they're as comfy as that special place in hell that we gays claim for ourselves.
I grab a pair of brown and white high-rise sneakers, slipping them on over my white socks, just as Killua comes back in. He's got a towel around his waist, his hair is weighed down by its dampness, and his skin is a bit pink in some places.
He moves to the closet, looking through my clothes for something that'll fit him. He grabs a pair of black leggings that I haven't fit into in three years and one of my white hoodies. Then he pauses.
"Uhm... could I borrow a pair of boxers?" He asks, his head turned away from me and his ears are red.
I move to my dresser and open a drawer, trying to find the smallest pair I can. "Yeah.. just a sec."
I find one that'll hopefully work for him and hand it over. "Thanks."
"No problem." I shrug.
I turn away and lay back on my bed, opening up my phone and scrolling through the school webpage. Nothing too extraordinary happening. I look back up and Killua has the leggings on. Damn he's got nice legs. He unfolds the hoodie and starts pulling it on. His body stretches in the process, the scars all over his pale skin shifting in place as he pushes his head through the collar.
It's pretty big on him. He chose a hoodie that's loose on me. But holy fuck he's cute.
"Here." I toss him a pair of socks.
"Thanks." He catches them. He walks over and sits on my bed to slip them on. Killua reaches down to grab his dark blue Nike's.
"Let's go get some breakfast." I pat him on the back as I get up. He follows me to the door and down the stairs. Mito-san is already in the kitchen of course, and she's already got the three plates set up for us all. As well as an additional covered dish in the middle.
