"Couldn't see what?" Taka asked, sneaking up behind me
"Ah, nothing!"
Taka just looked at me confused, so I smiled at him, but that just turned his face into a scared expression.
"Mondo, you have blood on you teeth!"
"Oh, um. It's always like that."
"Really? I know for a fact that it isn't."
He then gasped and yelled
"Did you get a piercing?!"
".......maybe."
"Mondo!"
"I wanted one! What's the matter with having one?"
"You look like-"
"You can't even see it. There's literally nothing on my face."
Me and Taka just stared at each other until Leon butted in.
"Hey, we gotta get going, so let's go!"
"Fine, But I'm talking to you later, Mondo!" Taka pointed at me and I waved my hands beside my head, which just made him giggle.
"Alright, Get Everybody." I told Leon. He just made a group chat and told everyone to meet at the car's.

"You all just want to hang out when we get to the school?" Chihiro asked
"Yeah, why not." Yasuhiro answered
Everyone got in their car and drove off while me and Taka were still walking to my bike.
"Hey, Mondo. Can I make a visit somewhere?"
"Uhh, sure. Where is it?"
" *Insert fake address here* "
"Um, That's pretty far from the school. Are you sure you want to go?"
"Yeah, I'm sure."
We got to the bike and I started heading to where Taka wanted to go.

"We're here!" I turn around to Taka and see tears in his eyes.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"Oh, Nothing. Just memories."
"Memories? You've been here before?"
"This is my house, Mondo."
"Ohh."
Taka's p.o.v
I walked to the front door, but it was locked.
"Hey, I got it." Mondo said reaching for his pocket
"No, I got it."
I said before running behind the house.
There was a cinder block near my window. Believe it or not, I had to sneak out of the house a couple of times.
I broke the lock off my window a long time ago.
"Have you snuck out before?!"
"I kinda had to sometimes." I told Mondo before flipping myself into my room and landing back on my feet. I turned around and saw Mondo making his way.
"What the hell are we doing here anyway?"
"I'm looking for something."
I was looking all over my room, it's werid everything is still here. I guess Dad didn't want anything to be taken away.
Mondo sat on my bed and just look at the room.
I looked all through my closet and finally saw it.
"HA! I found it!"
"Found what?" Mondo asked
"This!"
I showed him a jacket, my mom's jacket.
"It's just a jacket."
"It's my mom's jacket!"
"Oh, I'm guessing you're mom is?" He stop and pretend to be dead.
"Yes, Mondo she is."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
I walked over to him, but saw something fall out of the jacket.
I looked down and it was a letter that said

I picked up the letter and looked at who wrote it. My dad wrote this, I started reading it

I was in shocked and was crying. I was crying really bad.
"Hey! Hey! It's okay."
Mondo said hugging me
"I know."
"It's gonna be okay. I'm right here!"
I couldn't stop crying. I was just...I don't know.
'Did he write this before he died?'
I quickly got up and ran to his room.
I looked around and saw a bunch of pill bottles everywhere, beer cans, alcohol.
"Hey! You can't do that to me!"
Mondo yelled into the room
"Do you think that he would be proud of us?" I asked him looking at the letter in my hands
"Yeah. Yeah, I think he is proud of you."
Mondo said pulling me into a hug, and we stood there for a little bit.
"Hey, we might wanna get going."
We started heading to Mondo's bike, I put my mom's jacket on and my dad's letter in my pocket, so I didn't lose it.
I looked at the sky and whispered to myself
"I forgive you, Dad."
I got on Mondo's bike and held on to him
"I can't believe you can wear that jacket."
Mondo said holding my hand
"Shut up. Let's go, before the others start to wonder."
"Ya got it."
We drove off and I waved goodbye at the house.
