Summary:

In a society divided by the colour of the blood that runs through your veins, Goldbloods are the elite who live privileged lives. Within the Golds also exist the Gifted; people born with special abilities as either Sentinels or Guides, a blessing granted only to a few. Silverbloods are the not so fortunate, born in poverty to serve the Golds, always living in their shadow. There are no Gifted Silvers, has never been. That is simply the way of the world.

Kim Taehyung is a Goldblood, the only Guide of the Gifted who considers it a curse instead of a blessing. Even after eight long years spent searching, his Sentinel is nonexistent, and Taehyung is starting to lose hope.

Jeon Jeongguk is tired of suffering, of the constant pain he has to be in every waking moment. He wishes he had never been born a Sentinel. Or rather, he just wants to find his Guide and finally let go of the affliction that has been overshadowing his life for the past eight years.

Review:
Chapters: 10
Words: 140,538

This was such a cool interesting world that the author set up. It wasn't too complicated or indepth for the concept of the story, but also it wasn't too simple, it was perfect.

A few goldbloods can be a "gifted" someone who is either a Sentinel or a guide. A Sentinel has superhuman senses, so much so that its painful. They are overwhelmed with sounds, hearing, seeing, etc. They can barely function if they can't control them and if they become too overwhelmed, they can die.

Guides are people who can connect to the spirit world and who can guide their Sentinel there to help them control their senses. Guides and Sentinels have something like a soulmate bond and they usually find each other within a year or two.

There is a full on fence between the goldbloods and the silver bloods, so there is racism and oppression. There is also a very interesting story to why people have gold and silver blood. Overall though, its a very well put together story and a fascinating world.
