His iris' darkened and his eyes met the man on the other side of the sudsy glass; "Was the funeral pretty?"
"You don't get to know that,"

"Stop toying with me and just tell me Jungkook,"
Jungkook chuckled, dry, harsh, and gratingly in response. His eyes dark, malicious even, his body coiled up in excitement.
When had Jungkook turned into the madman sat before him? When had he lost his sanity? Because the man sat here before him, chained like a lamb to the slaughter, the same man who had been charged for multiple counts of torture, kidnapping and amongst other things premeditated murder, was definitely not sane. This was not the same Jungkook who had entered Les Rois months ago. This was the puppet, play-thing, and aftermath of Kim Taehyung, The Bastard.
"I killed him."

This is a pretty good one. When I read the summary I got House of Cards vibes, but darker, set in the 80's, and the roles are reversed, but Jungkook doesn't seem like he's going to go back to being an officer.
The story is set in New York city in the 80's. Kim Taehyung is the Bastard son of the most powerful mafia family in New York.
Jungkook is still a trainee in the police academy academy. The last spy in the gang got his cover blown by someone higher up, so they needed a replacement who's not in the police system, someone like Jungkook.
Jungkook was told to stay away from Taehyung, the smart but crazy son. Day one on the job and Jungkook gets caught in a shootout and ended up helping Taehyung escape. Taehyung's normal bodyguard got hurt on the way out, so Jungkook took his place as Taehyung's right hand.
Jungkook seems to already have some of his own issues, being around Taehyung is starting to mess with Jungkook's head.
This is also a time where being gay isn't really acceptable. Jungkook got beat by his father when he kissed a guy when he was younger and has tried to be straight ever since. Taehyung doesn't seem to care who knows of his sexuality or of his boyfriend, Park Jimin. On the other hand, Jimin is a little shy of who sees and who knows.
Jimin and Taehyung both seem interested in Jungkook, but Taehyung seems to want to test and play around with Jungkook more. While Jungkook is just trying to survive.
