There is a lot of smoking, drugs, rape, killing, and more.
Y'all remember the Vminkook story "House of Cards?" Gives me those vibes (at first), but Yoonmin and Vkook. The main focus is on these four characters.
The structure of the story is also very interesting; almost every chapter includes a flashback either to what led the character to the decision they are currently making or of their past and how they became the way they are.
*spoilers from here down*
Jimin is a cop. His boss Kwon forced/offered to pay for Jimin's mother's hospital bills and to help his older brother, Hoseok, get into law school, if he goes under cover and get close to Yoongi, a Mafia boss.
Yoongi is not the mafia boss yet, he is just one of four candidates, including his half brother, his cousin and his father's right had man.
Seokjin is his father's fight handman, but decided to help Yoongi out to reach the top.
Namjoon is Yoongi's right hand. (There is very little scenes of him, he is just mentioned every once in a while)
V is a serial killer who befriended and decided to kill for Yoongi.
Yoongi, Seokjin, and V got thrown in jail for some petty crimes, but they decided to make the most of it and ruled over the place.
Jungkook is V's whore in the prison in exchange for protection. Jimin is Jungkook's new cell mate.
Over the course of getting closer to Yoongi, Jimin starts to turn to the dark side. While Yoongi has killed many more people, it's Jimin who ends up being more of a killer. Yoongi regrets while Jimin does not.
All of them have problems: Yoongi is filled with guilt and depression, V is a killer, Jungkook has major insecurities, and Jimin has always been abused and stepped on all his life. All of them have issues with their parents.
It has a sweet ending, a little bitter.
