Interesting world the author created, I wish we had more. More of the world building and more of a back story for all the characters.
Soulmate au.
Everyone has a star attached to a chain, attached to their arm. The star will glow and float when a person needs their soulmate and will turn black and stop floating if the don't need their soulmate.
People are also bought and sold in a type of sex trafficking, taught how to be a perfect boyfriend/girlfriend (I think), trained to hide their star, to smile and laugh when appropriate, to never ask for anything. Then they are sold to who ever buys them for the day, week, or month. These people are called "falsie."
*spoiler*
Jungkook was a falsie for 10 years. After being rescued from a fire, he's taken to SoulMate Hospital to help him recover from the trauma. Two years later, Jungkook starts running into prince Taehyung, who volunteers there everyday.
