Chapter 27

The town sounded empty but once I reached the houses I could start seeing people, there were three girls playing in the sand as there mother's were busy getting water from a well. There weren't a lot of cars, there were more carriages.

Walking faster I walk up to the three women at the well, "Excuse me." I said in a soft voice, the three women turned around and greeted me with smiles. "How may we help you dear?" The women with blond hair asked, she seemed nice. "I was wondering if you knew a place where I can stay at." I said with a smile. "Well this isn't really a place for outsiders." The women on my left with black hair replied. Feeling down I was about to walk away when the blond haired women smacked the black haired women on her arm. "Excuse her, she's like that but I would love to help you if you let me." Nodding I flash her a bright smile, she giggled as she started saying what there names were. "I'm Emma, the women with black hair is Abby and on my right is Seulgi." Emma said as Seulgi bowed waving. "I'm y/n." I said as I bowed.

"Are you sure we should let her stay?" Abby whispered to Emma as she looked me up and down. "Abby stop being rude! Yes she's staying and if you have a problem then you can leave." Abby looked at Emma like she was offended. "Fine but don't come crying when you get into trouble, you know were not allowed to help strangers." Abby took her bucket filled with water and yelled for her daughter to follow her. I was shocked but more curious at what she said. Why would they be in trouble? "Excuse her. Do you have a place were you stay at?" Seulgi asked as she stood up. "No, I just wanted to go on vacation for a while." I replied as we started walking to one of the houses. "Oh then why pick this place?" Seulgi asked as we entered a house, the two children then ran up the stairs giggling like they just found out about a secret. "Whose place is this?" I asked looking around ignoring Seulgis question. Emma looked at me with a smile and replied. "Its mine, Seulgi lives in the house next to mine." Looking around the place once again I noticed that there were mistletoe hanging on the windows and th doors.

"What's with all the mistletoe?" Seulgi looked at me confused. "Have your parents never hanged mistletoe on the doors and windows?" She looked worried for a second. "No I've only heard of it never seen it before." They both looked at me shocked. Putting my bag down on the dinning table I shrug my shoulders. "What?" I asked with a giggle. "How were you protected then?" Emma asked earning a frown from me. "Protected from what?"

"Werewolves." Seulgi whispered, a chuckle escaped from my lips as I looked at them making sure there not lying to me. "Wait you're telling the truth?" I asked as I lift up my left eyebrow. "Don't you believe they exist?" Emma asked, I shook my head no earning a gasp from Seulgi. "Well then I would advise you not to go outside at night because once the sun sets all hell breaks lose in this town." Seulgi spoke as she sat down at the dinning table.

"Well I've never seen one, so what's the point to believe in something you've never seen." I said as I sat down on a chair that was beside her. "I see, well your in for a ride then but please tell me why pick this place." She questioned once again, I had to lie about the vacation to keep myself safe but what excuse do I have. Emma started getting out mugs as she made a fire at the fireplace. "I picked this place cause I have never been here before and I had no idea that there were werewolves."

"My advice to you dear do your history first before picking a place to go on vacation to." Emma said putting the kettle on. I was about to say something when I heard gunshots being fired outside, standing up I walked to the door but was stopped by Emma that had panic written all over her face. "Shhh!" She whispered as I calmed myself down, I wasn't scared I was more curious to what was happening. "What was that?" I whispered to Emma but she just shushed me again. Silence fell upon us, as we just stared at each other for a few minutes. It felt like forever but only 2 minutes had past.
