CHAPTER 18

Emilys POV

"But you can't be she can't be in the real world" I said stepping back

"I can but not many people know anyway I came to see you how are your powers doing I see you improved. Did Derek teach you?" She asked

"Yes but how do you know about Derek teaching me?" I asked

"I have been watching you. I will visit again but it is almost dawn I must go keep the balance of nature" she said and with that a light appeared and she was gone.

I let the ground go back down and fell asleep on the cold, wet ground.

I woke up in a pair of muscular arms. My eyes fluttered open and I looked up to see who it was carrying me. It was Derek.

"Derek I'm tired" I said snuggling my head into his chest

"Sh baby girl I know" he said

I don't know why but my heart skipped a beat when he said baby girl

"Derek I think I-" that's as far as I got before he interrupted me with a kiss. My heart fluttered

"Sh honey just go to sleep" he said and with that I snuggled as close as I could and closed my eyes.

I woke up in a soft bed I never wanted to get out of it so I snuggled into the fluffy pillows and groaned.

I eventually pulled myself out of the bed and walked downstairs. I saw Derek in the kitchen.

"Hey thanks for taking me off the uh you know lawn" I laughed

"No problem but why were you one the lawn anyways?" He asked

"Well I went for a run to clear my head and think over some carp got back then got attacked-"

"Wait you got attacked oh my god are you okay?" he asked coming over to check on me

"Im fine now let me finish anyway I got attacked by a ginger wolf turns out the ginger wolf was my mother, the moon goddess, she told me she came to see how I was doing and said it was almost dawn so she had to go and she would visit me again" I said turning around only to have Derek standing there facing me so closely that his face was only inches from my face.

I tucked my hair behind my ears and looked down as he stepped back.

"Hey umm so do you wanna go out on a date with me?" He asked

"I would love to!" I said "so when is it?" I asked

"How bout friday?" He asked

That was tomorrow

"That sounds fine should it be casual?" I asked

"Yeah casual that sounds good for what I have planned" he said

"Alright what do you want for breakfast?" I asked

"I'll make breakfast you go get dressed" he said looking at my lower body.

I gave him a questioning look before looking down there myself and noticing I had no pants on. I blushed and ran up to my room and got changed. (Outfit at top)

I ran back downstairs to the smell of bacon and pancakes. I ran into the kitchen like a three year old on Christmas day.

"I would like some of that please!" I said grabbing two plates and setting them on the counter then grabbing two forks and two butter knives.

"Alright bring the plates over" he said

I grabbed the plates and brought them over to the food and he put three on his plate and two on my plate. After we sat down and ate I rinsed off my plate and put it on the sink. Mind you if I hadn't already told you Derek has his own house that were living in. Then I washed my hands and sat down and watched TV with Derek. We watched re-runs of charmed and law and order SVU.

After a few episodes of charmed and some of law and order SVU we decided to go for a run I shifted into my gray and white wolf while he shifted into his pitch black wolf and ran ran into the woods. We eventually split up. Around 10 minutes into the run I turned my head because I thought he was still behind me cause I heard a branch snap but only saw a pitch black wolf with one white left paw.

~Shit~ I thought and ran faster. I may have my powers but when it comes to my child hood bully I cower in fear.

I turned my head only to trip. When I got back up I got tackled by a human next thing I know I have a collar around my neck I tried to run but got shocked. Damn a shock collar. Shock collars work on us in both form so it was useless to run unless I want to get shocked u bunch of times and run out of energy so I let out a distress howl.
