As I approached Ashton's house I realised how much money he truly had. The house stood alone on a street, it was the size of 4 semi detached and was painted in bright colours. Just by looking at it, you could see it was a 5 story house, probably an equally large garden, to. This was like a glimpse into my dreams. This was what I had always wanted! 'Calm down we haven't even got inside yet!' Ashton told me. 'What? I haven't even said anything?' I replied, confused to Ashton's knowing. 'I can read minds, a true freak!' 'Come on tell me really!' 'Alright, the look on your face gave it away. What's your house like?' He asked. I got slightly nervous at his question but answered truthfully. 'Well it's only got two bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom. The kitchen is joined into the living room and the constant stench of beer always lingers in the air' I reply. Ashton looks at me, expressionless, head cocked to one side. 'Is it really that small?' 'Yep, some people just aren't all that rich I suppose' Ashton gave me a knowing look as if to say he was sorry but we were interrupted by a woman's voice. 'Ashton, my darling, who is this?' A thin young woman approached us from his house. 'Hey mum, this is my new friend Chelsea!' He said with such pride. I couldn't help smiling. 'I'm so glad you have finally found someone!' She boomed. 'Alright we're going to be leaving know' Ashton slowly pulled me into his house when his mum shouted back 'don't forget to say hello to your brother!' 'Your brother?' I asked, intrigued. 'He isn't my actual brother, he's my step brother. My mum married his dad a few years back, Paul's all right but Luke is horrid!' Luke. Did he mean Luke Hemming's? The bad boy, Luke? My Luke? 'Luke?' I ask. 'He goes to our school, you know the one everybody loves cause he's 'badass' Ashton said sarcastically. I let out a loud pig like chuckle, a noise I had never made before in my life. 'What the fuck was that?' Ashton chuckles. 'I don't even know!' We continued laughing, until we heard a hard knock on the door. 'Ashton will you shu-' Luke had come into the room, however he fell silent when he saw me in there to. 'Um, sorry, I didn't, I have to go know!' He then hurried back out of the room. 'What happened there?' I asked, confusion in my voice. 'I'm not sure, I have never seen him act like that...' My mind then started to wander. Then, I asked myself, what if it was me who made him go silent. When his gaze reached to me it was almost like he hit a wall. But why was he so embarrassed? It's only me.
