Part 5-Parasites

The Next Afternoon

As a bunch of people sat tied up in a warehouse that used to be a machine shop, Gaia looked around seeing Rowan and Daisy coming over to her.

"Glad a few agents could come get these Aranes men and women," Gaia said. She was wearing her super suit.

"It was thanks to you three for taking them down," Layla said as she came up behind Gaia placing her hand on her shoulder.

"Agent Ainsworth, can you come with us to the bunker? General Jericho wants to have a conversation with you about her and those two," said an ARGUS agent as he came over to the four of them.

Gaia looked over at the guy wearing a full soldier uniform, "Terra is at home with Morgan so you three just get there and eat dinner, act like nothing is up." Layla told the three. Daisy nodded quickly while Rowan grabbed Gaia by the arm pulling her away from the group of soldiers.

Daisy pulled Rowan up to his room pushing him up against the door as it closed, "Another mission complete," she said before she kissed him.

Rowan kissed back, picking up Daisy who was shorter than him. As he carried the Asian girl to the bed, Rowan laid Daisy on the bed and pulled away.

"We should stop for now," Rowan said, pulling away. He wanted to keep going, but his sisters were downstairs so he thought it would be best to stop.

Daisy nodded and looked around quietly while Rowan went over to the computer. She looked down at her arm seeing a small bite mark from one of the Aranes.

Daisy rolled her shirt down covering it to make sure nobody could see it, "Do you want to study for your exam to get into the academy?" Daisy asked her boyfriend.

"Probably, I just want to look over the footage again," Rowan told her.

Morgan put her dish in the sink just as Payton came over placing hers inside as well, "Should we sneak to the party at Emily's tonight?" Payton whispered looking back at Gaia and Terra.

"Yes, of course. But we just have to make sure Gaia doesn't know about it," replied Morgan. She smiled when she reached down pulling Payton up towards her room. As Payton walked upstairs, Terra turned off her cloaker ring.

"Gaia, my powers are growing, and it feels amazing. My super strength is finally coming in. Look!" Terra explained while she reached for the table lifting it off the ground completely with one hand.

"That's amazing. How is the plant healing going?" Gaia asked quietly.

"Almost have it, but mama wants me to continue to learn to control it before I go to high school next year," Terra responded.

"You'll get there. Just keep training just like our mom would have wanted," Gaia said, hearing a ding from her phone. As Gaia pulled out her phone, she saw a text from Connor. There was a party happening tonight at Emily's house.

Gaia responded standing up from the table saying, "Gotta go do some homework!" She smiled to herself as Terra watched Gaia run up the stairs.

"She's a horrible liar, some boy must have stolen her heart." Terra started looking at the dishes that were left out and in the sink. "Great, just great!"

At Emily's house, Morgan and Payton walked through the front door. Payton was wearing a cute romper with a jacket over top to keep herself warm while Morgan was wearing high waisted jeans with a small black crop top. She had her blonde hair curly for once.
