Somewhere dark, somewhere with no lights on, Layla tried to look around, but she couldn't see anything. As she heard footsteps approaching, a light flicked on.

Layla closed her eyes from the blinding lights until she opened them seeing Joy staring down at her, "Ainsworth, my dreams are almost complete. You know about the Children of Liberty back in National City all those years ago. Well, obviously you do. You fought against us." Layla tried to move in her seat. Her hands were tied behind her back tightly. "A subgroup of us remained after the Children of Liberty fell crashing down due to little Supergirl. My group: the Children. Our mission was to take out the new threat to humans. Celestial...Azalea knew we were after the reactor core which resulted in her death which was obviously a good thing for us. Suicide...not the way I thought she would go out."

Joy walked around looking down at Layla while she moved her hand across the back of the chair, "I don't care about your stupid story!" Layla spat.

"Good to know, but you will once I get to the interesting part." Joy continued. "The reactor core was required for a big portal to another world. The world Azalea and Pierce came from. Celestine. The Children want to end all means of aliens like them. A powerful species. Beautiful as well, at least the ones on this earth. But nevertheless, my people have created the portal. And tonight, Celestine will burn to the ground."

"No! No, it won't!" Layla yelled while Joy placed her hands on Layla's shoulders. "My kids will stop you!"

"You mean the new Celestial who is probably dead as we speak, the young girl with powers she can't control. And a boy who can't even get into ARGUS as a mindless soldier. Yeah, those kids aren't doin' much for anyone." Joy explained to Layla before Joy turned around smiling and heading for the door. Layla gulped and fidgeted to get her hands loose.

"She better be lying." Layla muttered quietly to herself.

Connor held Gaia in his arms while he felt no pulse, "Gaia, please wake up. Please!"

As he shouted that, Terra came into the house seeing her sister and Connor on the ground. Terra dropped her bag and ran over to her sister's side.

"What happened? Who did this?!" asked Terra. Connor looked up at Terra with tears in his eyes.

"I loved her. She..." Connor mumbled before Terra stared at his sister's boyfriend.

"Move her outside. Into the back," Terra pointed at the back door realizing that the door had been destroyed.

"My cousin, she did this." Connor said picking up Gaia lifting her into his arms. As Terra and Connor went outside, Terra pointed towards the ground near a tree.

"I've never done this before. But maybe, just maybe. I can bring her back," Terra urged when Gaia was laid down in a pile of flowers right by a large oak tree. The grass was long where she was laying.

Connor backed away from Gaia when Terra knelt down to the ground placing her hands on the green grass. She felt the life of all the plant life around her.

"Gaia...this better work." Terra mumbled while she focused all her strength into the ground beneath her.

Gaia was standing around a beautiful garden looking over a crystal clear blue lake. Her body was covered by a flowy pink gown. Sharp ears poked out through her long wavy and curly hair. Green eyes stared down at her hands.

Just then, someone sat down on the grass next to her, "Mom, mom!" Gaia said hugging Azalea. She was wearing a similar pink gown with a beautiful flower crown sitting on top of her black hair. "Is it really you? Or is it an image of you?"
