Somewhere in the Middle of the Forest

In the darkness of night, Joy was walking with Shelby and the tattooed man, Steven. As they approached a clearing in the woods, a circular machine came into view. The machine was large and portal like.

Joy motioned for Steven and Shelby to go over to the control system of the portal. A man wearing a science lab coat and a welders helmet turned to Joy going over to her.

The scientist took off his mask showing off a beautiful man's face. His eyes were bright blue and skin very clear.

"Is it working, Tinkerer?" Joy asked looking at the man.

"Almost, just working out a few kinks." said the Tinkerer smirking and chuckling. "Those Celestinan aliens will not expect us to take them out." The Tinkerer laughed while he put his mask back on and went back over to the portal starting to weld again. Joy glanced over at Shelby putting a thumb in the air smiling.

In the basement of the Ainsworth house, Axel was unconscious from a sedative that Gaia had gave Axel to calm him down after being injected with the injection.

Skye was looking into a microscope seeing Axel's cells on a little plate. Morgan turned to Gaia and went over to Axel grabbing his hand.

"What's happening?" Morgan asked Gaia and then she glanced over at Skye.

"It looks like his cells are multiplying uncontrollably. Fast and rapid, come look," Skye said gesturing for Morgan to come over and look into the microscope. Morgan peered into the device seeing the dividing human cells.

Just then, Gaia went over and motioned for Morgan to move, "He's a meta and that's for sure. His cells are definitely not normal. Those cells are not exactly real cells, holograms more or less." Gaia explained before she looked around the other two.

"Holograms, great," Morgan stated. "I should never have let him take that for me."

"It's too late, and he will be fine after he learns to control his cell division." Gaia said sitting up on the table while Skye went over to one of the chairs by the computers.

"And how are you going to control that?" questioned Morgan.

"I think I might know someone who can help," Gaia smiled to herself while she got up running upstairs leaving Skye and Morgan looking at each other awkwardly.

"I should go," Skye suggested making Morgan nod when Skye went up the stairs. Morgan looked back at Axel and reached for his hand squeezing it.

"You're going to be fine, babe." Morgan expressed quietly.

Connor was sitting on the couch right next to Heather who were both looking at Rose. Their mother was sitting opposite of them nervously wondering if she should tell them the truth about her family.

"Tempest is a dangerous girl and she wouldn't let me tell either of you about your family's real heritage," Rose started to say. "My mother came here from a planet called Firestar. Coming here from a planet completely engulfed in flames, it was all new to her. Then meeting my dad, a firefighter as you know, she has me and my sister. But when my mother hit the age of 65, she passed away passing on her genes. It was going to go to either my sister or me, luckily it went my sister, the First Blaze. And I got to have a normal life."

Heather turned to her brother completely confused when Connor said, "So that means the genes were passed onto Tempest."

"Yes, and as long as you stay out of her way not messing with whatever she is up to. She won't hurt any of us. Just act normal around her and all will be okay," Rose said trying to make Heather and Connor understand.
