Revelations [Lelouch x reader][Editing]

Chapter 4

  "Shirley, wait up!" She stops in her tracks, and I hug her from behind. "I missed you!"

    "Oh! Y/n! How was tutoring Lelouch last night?" She turns her head a bit to try and look at me.

  "Well..." I laugh nervously, "both of us couldn't really understand the work heh..." I scratch my cheek a little. 

   "Hmm, both of you need to pay attention more!" She pouts at me as we start to walk normally towards the classroom. 

  As we sit down in our seats and attend morning classes. 

  Lelouch and Rivel suddenly rush out of the door. 

  "Hey, where are you two going?!" Shirley is already scolding them for something. 

  Lelouch smiles at her, "Don't worry, we'll be back before class starts." 

  I watch them leave as Shirley sighs in frustration, "Lulu is just going to gamble again!" 

  "Lelouch gambles?" I didn't think he would be that type of person. No wonder why he sleeps in class... 

 We both grab our lunches and meet Milly and Nina in the courtyard. Shirley explains to Milly where the boys ran off to.      

  "Is there even a reason for him to gamble, if he does it to make money then he's just going to end up in debt at some point?"

  "Y/n?" 

  "Lelouch should honestly get a job...Is that against school policy?"

  "Y/n!" I look up from my lunch and I see Milly calling for me. She has a finger on her cheek smirking, "you keep on mumbling about Lelouch~"

  "Well yeah, I'm a bit concerned for that idiot." I can feel the top of my ears burning a little, "he's my friend and obviously, Shirley is also worried about him."

  I look at Shirley hoping she'd agree with me, " She has a point! They seem to forget they're on the student council! They're off gambling for money! Lulu may be smart, yet he wastes his brain on stupid things."

  I can just see Milly's smirk get bigger as Shirley continues about how, "if only he'd apply himself in school, he'd get higher grades!"

  "Oh, I wish my darling Lulu would be a serious young man! How adorable is that!" Milly smiles and giggles at Shirely. 

  Shirley turns red, "please madam president...Don't embarrass me like that."

  As time goes on, I start to worry more and more. Lunch is almost done and the boys aren't back yet. Shirley tried to call Lelouch, but he declined her call. "Ugh! That jerk hanged up on me!" 

  "I'm sure Lelouch can handle himself, but I'm worried something bad happened." We both walk to the locker rooms. 

  "Well, that would teach him a lesson right?" I softly nod in agreement. 

  We start to change into our school swimsuits, and honestly, I can't wait to swim. It should be refreshing. But I don't know if I can swim with this knot in my stomach. I can't help but think that Lelouch is in some sort of horrible situation. I start to put my hair up, but my phone starts ringing. 

  I look at who's calling and it's "Lelouch". 

  "Hello? Lelouch, where are you?" Shirley immediately turns her head towards me and I get closer to her so she can hear our conversation. 

  "Can you turn on the news?" Lelouch's voice sounds serious and maybe a bit cold. I look at Shirley and she walks over to the girls behind us to changes the TV channel. 

  "Anything about Shinjuku?" 

  "No...Only about traffic restrictions, but they're not saying why. Are you okay? "  

  "Yes, I'm fine. Can you tell my sister, Nunnally that I'll be home late tonight?" 

  "Hm, sure, but you have to answer all of my questions once you come back. Got it?"

    I can hear a smile in his voice, "I got it. Don't be too harsh on me."

  "Okay, bye stay safe." I end the call and I can see how upset Shirley is. 

  "He really needs to stop and go out gambling like this!" 

  I listen to her complaints as we go to the gym, but honestly what's happening in Shinjuku. He might know something that the government obviously doesn't want to share...Maybe as of right now.
