i don't think so. i promised my daddy that we'd hang out this weekend. he has some news he wanted to share with me and yara.

awe, come on h. it won't be fun without you there.

ill see what i can do. no promises though.

louis just said he better see you there harrie or else he's gonna hunt you down.
harrie
ill try. i should get going though. i have to walk home today and its already getting late. ill talk to you guys later.

its about to rain harrie. you should have said something, you could have caught a ride from lou and i.

harrie sighs as she sees the dark clouds. niall was right, it was about to rain.
she knew she should have brought a sweater but her father told her it was so unnecessary.
harrie just continues to walk as the rain starts to pour down.
she puts her backpack over her head before a car stops next to her.
"what are you doing out here in the rain?"
harrie turns to look a the driver.
"heading home."
"in the rain?"
harrie nods.
"get in, ill give you a lift."
harrie was hesitant.
"im not gonna bite harrie. come on, get in."
harrie sighs before going around and hoping into the front seat.
"thanks."
zayn smiles at her.
"of course."
"just keep going-"
"straight, i know. i remember where you live harrie." zayn chuckles.
"right."
sometimes harrie forgets they use to be best friends once upon a time.
their parents were really close growing up so they spent a lot of times together.
but once zayn got to high school puberty hit him in the gut and he became the popular boy everyone wanted to date.
after that harrie saw less of zayn and more of her four walls.
"so, how have you been?"
harrie shrugs.
"you going to louis party this weekend?"
"probably not. niall wants me to."
"you should come. it'll be great seeing you there." zayn states.
"you know you don't have to pretend we're close."
zayn frowns.
"what do you mean?"
harrie just shakes her head.
"nothing."
zayn sighs.
"i know we haven't hanged in a while but I still consider you my best friend h. im sorry ive been distant with you the last few years but we can still chill out."
"no thanks."

zayn pulls up in her drive way before she hops out of the car.
