harrie takes a deep breath before ringing the familiar doorbell. she didn't really have anything to be nervous about besides seeing her ex boyfriend for the first time outside of school.
it's been only a week and two days since the two ended things and she needed to clear her head of him.
which is why she's excited to be going to LA for thanksgiving tomorrow.
but for now she had to give zayn back his things so she didn't have to see him when she gets back.
"harrie? what are you doing here?" alexa opens the door.
"im here to give zayn back his things. since you're here though could you maybe-" she stops mid sentence when she spots him coming down the steps.
alexa sighs. "i think it's best if you hand it to him yeah?" she states before walking away.
"baby? what are you doing here?" zayn asked.
harrie just looks at him before handing him a small basket of his things.
"just came to give you this."
zayn looks at it before shaking his head.
"no, keep it."
"zayn-"
"no! if you give this back it means we're over for good." zayn states.
harrie gives him a sympathetic look.
zayn sheds a tear.
"please don't make this harder."
zayn hesitates as he grabs the basket.
he looks at her before she goes to walk off.
she turns back around. "i almost forgot."
harrie hands him the promise rings he gave her and that's when he officially broke.
selena comes running to her brother when she spots him sobbing. she looks up at harrie and sighs.
"i think it's best you go." selena states before harrie nods.
she hated seeing him like that. it broke her heart but she needed to be strong.
this was for the best.
