The Badger and the Serpent
"There's something in your bed again!" Trisha said as I pass by her in the common room as she drink her butterbeer. I rushed to our room and saw a package laying in my bed, the wrapper was the same design of the box that my yule ball dress came with.
I opened it and saw a note again, "Happy Birthday Paris, my Ren... ~R" I read the note out loud, "It's him again, R" I said to myself, I looked at the package and opened it and saw a broom, a Firebolt. One of the most greatest broomstick ever and I've wanted it ever since it was released
"Bloody Hell!" I said as I admired it, it was so stunning. I placed it in my broom stand for I still have another subject to got to so I grabbed my books and went out
"Hey!" Oliver greeted me as he saw me in the hallway, my heart skipped a beat at the sight of him as i remembered what happened back then. I shook my head.
"Oliver!" I greeted him while walking towards him with a smile, "Someone gave me a firebolt as a birthday present! I don't know who he is, or she is but whoever it was, I am so grateful" I said rapidly as my smiled grew widely and he just blinked as if he was confuded and smiled at me
"Good for you," He said then he leaned forward, "Happy Birthday Agape" he said softly and caught me off guard as he planted a kiss om my cheeks. I felt heat concentrating at my cheeks, i cleared my throat as i said,
"Thank you!" I said and continued walking without turning back to him, I was flustered. I bet I look like a tomato right now
In the afternoon, we all went to Hogsmeade to celebrate my birthday, "Happy Birthday Godfrey" Lily greeted me with a hug and gave me my present, "Open it" she said and I took the ribbon out and opened the box,
"A pack of chocolate?" I said as I looked at her in a confused face
"It's no ordinary chocolate Agape" she said and looked at me, "It's enchanted, there's a charm inside it, whenever you're sad or depressed, just eat one and it will show you all of your happy memories" she explained, all my happy memories? I don't have a lot, my happy memories are being here in Hogwarts with these great people around me
"Happy Birthday Mudblood" Malfoy who was with Lily said as he throw a green apple towards me which I caught, I am part of Hufflepuff's Quidditch team after all. I rolled my eyes on him as he called me a Mudblood
"Is this supposed to be a gift?" I asked him as I look at the green apple that I caught with my hands
"You wish" he sneered and left to follow Lily while I shook my head and laughed at him
"Happy Birthday Agape!" Hermione greeted me and hugged me as she gave me her present
"Happiest Birthday to you" Harry and Ron greeted me too
"Thank you guys, thank you so much for coming and thank you for the presents too" I said with a smile and let them go inside with the others
"Happy Birthday Gape" I looked back where the voice came from and saw Ced standing in front of me while holding a small box
"Thank you Ced!" I said happily and opened the present, I gasped as I saw what was inside of it, it was a gold bracelet with emerald and white opal gemstones "It's spectacular!" I said as I took the bracelet out of the box and let the light shine unto it and it reflected it
