The Final Goodbye

~Oliver Wood~

"Did a letter for me arrive?" I asked mom as I sat down the dining table to have breakfast, I've been asking her since that day and no letter ever arrived.

"No sweetie, who are you expecting? Agape?" asked Mom and I just gave her a nod. "Well, she sent me a letter earlier but she didn't gave one for you though" she said and my face brightened up as I heard what she said

"What does it say?!" I asked her excitingly

"Here, you read it" she says as she handed me a letter, it was still sealed, indicating that she hasn't read it yet. "You haven't read it?" I asked Mom as I opened the letter gently

"I was busy cooking when it arrived, Pretzel is also in front, I guess she's waiting for an answer" She said as she shrugs and served breakfast, I leaned back at my chair to peak at the window and saw Pretzel looking at my direction, her yellow eyes shimmered in the sun.

~Agape Paris Godfrey~

"Ugh!" I groaned as I crumpled another piece of parchment. I've been trying to write a letter for an hour now. I dipped the end of my quill in the ink again and tried to think of something to write

"Dear Oliver Wood... hey how are you...NO!" I shouted at myself as I crumpled it again and aimed for the trash bin. I threw it and it shoots in, I'm a Quidditch chaser after all. I closed my eyes as I thought of what to write and suddenly, something came in my head. I picked up my quill and started writing.

"Dear Abigail Demeter Wood..." I started writing, I took a deep breath as I wrote again.

"Good Day Mrs. Wood, it's me, Agape. I'm going back, but not home, I'm going back from where I came from. I finally learned how second chances works, it's not going to be fault if it's not worth it, it will be their fault. For I gave them another chance and they wasted it. Please tell Liv to chase her own dream, to create her own path and don't just walk in someone else's. Thank you for making me feel like I'm a part of your family and lastly, I love you...

Sincerely Yours,

Aga Ris Godfrey"

I wrote as I intentionally wrote my name just like how he writes it, just like how Oliver writes it "Pretzel..." I called my owl, she hooted and flew to my arm that was stretched for her to land on. "To Abigail Demeter Wood..." I whispered, she looked at me with her yellow tourmaline eyes before she flew to the dark midnight sky. The morning came and I've already pack my trunk when I went downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Good morning Agape, what are those for?" asked Lilith who was eating her toast in the dining table with Mrs. Weasley and Tonks

"I'm leaving later" I said and she looked at me with shocked eyes as she dropped her toast into her plate.

"You're what?!" asked Lilith as she looked at me with her startled eyes

"Where are you going dear?" asked Mrs. Weasley who had a worried and concerned expression marked all over her face.

"I'm going back, to my parents" I said and they looked at me in confusion

"Didn't you hate them?" asked Tonks as she drank her morning coffee

"I'm giving them another chance so it won't be my fault anymore..." I whispered

"Your fault?" Lily asked

"Nothing, I'm leaving this afternoon" I said as I placed my luggage in the living room. Mrs. Weasley told me to just leave my books and other things here for they'll just take it with them when they go to Hogwarts, I thanked them for that. It will really help my back.

"Where's Aunt Vivienne?" I asked as they all gathered in the living room to say their goodbyes

"There was an emergency in her restaurant and a letter arrived for you just now" answered Sirius and gave me a letter, I didn't get to read who it was from as Hermione hugged me tightly

"See you back in Hogwarts..." she whispered to my ear as she hugged me

"See you..."

"Hello?" I said as I knocked at the old wooden door. Nobody answered so I knocked again and again and again until someone shouted and it echoed from the hallway to the front entrance.

"Alexander open the door!" shouted a voice, her voice. Chills went down to my spine as I remembered how bad she treated me back then. It played I my head like a horror movie, a movie that I never wanted to see.

The door creaked loudly as it opened widely and there stood my dad. "Paris?" he said with an astonished face as he stared at me with his keen but pleasant pair of grey eyes.

"Who's that Alexander?!" she shouted again but now it was more loud, I heard heavy footsteps and clicking heels approaching us both. Shortly she stood right beside Dad with a cigarette on her mouth, lit up and now half the original size, "Oh..." she said as soon as she saw me, she dropped her cigarette in the hard ground and puts it out with her heels. "This bitch again...I thought you were dead" she said and laughed as she looked at me head to toe with her eyes. I looked at her with piercing eyes as I asked,

"The bitch is back, missed me bitch?" I smirked even though I was trembling, a familiar cold feeling made me feel goosebumps all over my body as my emerald autumn green eyes met her icy unwavering and steely pair of ice blue eyes.

"How dare you!" she shouted, she raises her hand to slap me but I have learned, I have learned how she moves, talks and looks. I stopped her hand mid-air and looked at her dead in the eye

"That's not a way to welcome your child, Saveera" She looked at me with a shocked expression marked all over her face.

"I don't have a useless and disrespectful child!" she yelled with anger echoing in her voice as she pulled me in the house and dragged me up the stairs to my old room and pushed me in there with my luggage. I heard the locks clang and slowly realized what she was doing.

"Let me out!" I shouted but she just laughed as I heard her footsteps dwindled away

I shouldn't have come back here....
