The Small Voice inside one's head
"It's still pouring?" Poppy asked as I looked at the windows, it was a gloomy Thursday and its pouring since I woke up
"Yeah" I answered her, "I don't think it will stop soon" I said as I got up the chair near the window and sat to my bed to fix my socks
"Good thing we don't have any morning classes because it's nice to oversleep when it's rainy" Trisha said as she puts on her tie
"Y'all missed breakfast, good thing I bought food with me" Poppy said as she points out the bread and jam in the table
"Thanks Mom" Linda said jokingly and we all laughed
We all got to the Great Hall to grab lunch for we have afternoon classes late, "Hey" a familiar voice said, I looked back and saw Honey just standing behind me
"What do you need?" I asked her as her light brown eyes just starred to my autumn green eyes
"Are you and Oliver dating?" she straight up asked
"Why are you asking?" I asked her as my forehead creases and I raised a brow
"You don't look good together" she said with an ignorant face, I swear to Merlin I would've punched her face right now
"Excuse me?" I asked as I stood up as I look at her ugly looking ass face, she looked up as I was taller than her
"I said you don't look good together!" she repeated, I clenched my fist.
"It's none of your fucking business if we're dating or not CYPRUS, now get lost" I said as I tried to control my temper. I just tried to sit down
"Don't mind her Agape" Poppy said
"Oh really" she said as I sat down to cool off, "Okay Mudblood" her words rang to my head as I heard a little voice
'Go off....'
It said, I couldn't control myself anymore and stood up and slapped her too hard that she lost her balance, I could hear students gossip and some even walked towards us like sis this isn't a movie, "How dare you!" she said as she held her face which is very red, well I didn't hesitate, "How dare you touch me with your filthy hand you Mudblood!" she said and was going to slap me but I caught her arm and slapped her again but it was the other side so now her whole face is red, well I'm doing her a favor in making her blush on FLEEK
"20 points from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw!" I heard a familiar voice which made me turn my head and saw Snape, "To Dumbledore's office now!" he shouted and I just walked out the Great hall, unwounded because I won the fucking war
"Severus, why are you here?" I heard Professor Dumbledore ask Professor Snape
"This two students caused a ruckus in the Great Hall" he said as he looked at us both
"Ms. Godfrey" Dumbledore called my last name with a shocked face, "and Ms. Cyprus is this true?" he asked us, I looked at Honey whose face was so red and swollen and rolled my eyes
"Yes Professor" she answered, "And my family...Will hear about this" she said in a very proud voice while she glared at me
"Yeah, you and your shitty family" I whispered, please let me punch her before I die
"Excuse me?" she asked me, I looked back and mimicked her in annoyance
"This is a very bad behavior coming from you two..."
"But Professor! She was the one who slapped me!" Honey protested
"I know Ms. Godfrey, she wouldn't do anything if not provoked Ms. Cyprus" Dumbledore said and looked at me, "You both are lucky that only points are deducted from your houses and both doesn't receive detention" Dumbledore said
"Thank you Professor" we both said in chorus
"You may now go" he said, I was about to leave when he said something, "Ms. Godfrey please stay for a moment" I stopped and went inside his office again
"Yes professor?" I asked Professor Dumbledore
"Are you feeling weird or strange?" He asked me
"Well I am hearing voices ever since I got here Professor" I confessed
"Well that's not very good Ms. Godfrey" he said
"Yes Professor, Lily told me" I said back to him
"Ms. Sephitis?" he asked to me
"Yes professor, we're quite good friends" I explained, "Also, strange gifts keeps on appearing in my dorm with a letter, it started in yule ball I think" I said
"Well did Mr. Friar saw anyone go to your dorms?" he asked and I just shook my head for an answer, "Accio" he said and a piece of paper and a quill came towards him, "You can get going now Ms. Godfrey, don't get caught in the rain" He said and I thanked him as I went out him office
I went straight to Defense against the Arts for I was almost late, "Hey Lilith" I greeted Lily as I sat down beside her
"Agape!" she smiled at me "I saw you slap that girl from Ravenclaw, Honey in the great hall, I was so rooting for you" she whispered as I sat down
"Thanks...I guess" I thanked her as I gulped because I got in trouble for that SHIT
"She's a Hufflepuff right?" I heard gossip from the others but I ignored them
"Yeah, she's an embarrassment to the Hufflepuffs, I mean aren't they supposed to be the good people" I heard, I just rolled my eyes and ignored them
"Silence!" Professor Moody shouted, "No gossiping in my class!" he said while his glass eye was looking around
The class ended and the rain still didn't stop, "It's not stopping soon" I said to Lily who was standing right beside me
"Let's just hope that it stops" She said and we started walking but separated immediately for she was going in another way
"Agape Godfrey!" I heard Rose yell my name in the corridors of Hogwarts, I turned back and saw her with Oliver
"God she's angry" I said to myself as I watch her march her way towards me with Oliver, she's obviously furious
"Did you really slap Honey Cyprus, the one from Ravenclaw?!" she asked me with anger in her voice
"Ye...yeah" I nervously answered as I looked at her furious face
"That's my girl!" she said and messed with my hair, which made me felt relieved because I thought she was going to scold me for an hour long
"Rose!" Oliver called her name
"What? She fought back and didn't hesitate, she deserves a reward" she said and laughed
"I swear to Merlin, you guys are mental!" Oliver said and rolled his eyes as we laughed at him
The day ended fast and the rain was still not stopping, we all went back to our dorms. "AHHH!" we heard someone scream, me and Linda looked at each other and run towards where the scream was from.
When we arrived there, we saw a girl laying down, face in the ground. "POPPY!" Linda shouted, I looked at the girl and quickly realized who she is...
It was Poppy....Poppy Caxton...
