The 'Half-Blood Prince'

"Hey, stop yawning, Agape." Scolded Lilith, I barely had any sleep last night, I was finishing my Potions homework and that took me hours and hours that I only slept for 4 hours until I was woken up by Dumbledore. I was worried when he disappeared but now, I don't know...can he please just not wake me up early in the morning.

Lilith and I sat together in Potions as usual, but today it was only us two. Blaise and Malfoy nor Nott did not the lecture so that leaves Lilith as the only Slytherin attending the class. I yawned once again but this time, Lilith playfully smacked my in the arm for yawning continuously. "Ok, ok, fine." I said and looked around.

Hermione, Ron, Harry and Ernie were all in the same table, these past few days I can say that Harry has improved drastically, but it somehow made me feel suspicious about him. He wasn't this attentive or good in Potions before, maybe because Snape wasn't teaching anymore but no, I know there's more to that. My gaze drifted to Hermione who was glaring at something and so did Ron, I looked at what they were glaring at and saw it was Harry's book.

He haven't changed it even though a new copy of the book had arrived last week, it must be it, there's no other reasons. "You've noticed it too, haven't you?" Lilith asked as I brewed my potion, she glanced to me when I didn't give her an answer, I looked at her with a confused expression which eventually faded when I realized what she was talking about. "What'd you reckon about it? His book perhaps?" she asked me as my gaze drifted from her to Harry who was also brewing his Potion.

"Maybe, you know there was a new copy that arrived last week, yet he haven't change his. He just kept on using it, which is very suspicious for me." I uttered as I shrug. I looked back at Lilith who smirked, I knew she was going to do something. "What are you planning Lily?" I chuckled, she didn't give me a reply, only a wink and she looked to Harry who was getting ingredients for what he was brewing in the storage rack.

There was a beam of light and then Harry's book was in Lilith's hand. "Aha!" said Lilith and I looked at her with widened eyes. She's getting me into trouble, Merlin!

"What the bloody hell are you doing, you Git!" I scolded her and she just scoffed at me and returned her gaze to the book.

"I'm just going to check, don't worry." She said as she open it while smiling. There was a lot of scribbles and annotations written on the books, some are crossed out. Poor book, what did you do to deserve this?

My eyes widened when Lilith opened a page and there my eyes widened in what I saw. "Is that...?" I asked her as I looked at her as she replied with a nod. It was Professor Severus Snape's hand writing, I know it for he always puts long remarks on my homeworks and projects.

'This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince'

Indicated the first page of the book. I looked up to Harry who was now walking back towards their table. I panicked and threw the book towards them before Lilith could transport it back. "Half-Blood Prince?" I asked confused as I looked at Lilith. "Prince?" I asked again but she couldn't answer for Professor Slughorn passed our table, peering at out cauldrons to check how are Potions are doing, when he saw that it was right, he immediately walked away and checked the other's works.

"It's Professor Snape, obviously." Lilith answered as she stirred her potion.

"What's with the 'Prince' though? Is that like his nickname or something?" I asked curiously as I also stirred my Potion and chopped ingredient to add to it.
