"Well Nathan. It's time for us to finish our freshman year. We have like what, 5 more months?" Zachary asked. "Yeah.... Six months." Nathan answered.
"Oh."
"Yeah.."
"Oh well, it's only another month."
"Mhm."
"Hopefully(grabs Nathan's hand), we'll go to prom together in senior year?"
"Of course."
"I knew you'd say yes."
"You should have known since day 1."
"Ha. Your right."
"What do you want to do?"
"Whatever bæ wants."
"Oh Jesus."
"Ha ha."
"To Nathan's?"
"Best place around town."
They raced over to the woods and chased each other around. Eventually, the both tumbled around the woods playing with each other.
"How much did it cost to 'own' this place?" Nathan asked. "About... 3 grand." Zachary answered. Nathan's eyes widened. "3 GRAND?!" Nathan shouted. "Like I said it was worth it." Zachary replied. "Woow, Zac. That was really sweet of you." Nathan blushed. Zachary kissed Nathan's cheek. "I'd do anything for you." He replied.
They walked around town together and eventually camped at Nathan's. They stayed awake cuddling. "Zac?" Nathan asked. "Yep?" Zachary asked.
"What would you have done, if I didn't make the operation?"
"I would have still renamed this place after you. Then I'd wish I was the one who got hit. And promise myself to never fall in love with anyone else but you. Because I love you."
"Aww. I love you too."
"You didn't have to say it back I just wanted you to know."
Nathan kissed Zachary and slept.
The next morning. They each used their gifts that they gave each other. Zachary used his penny board, while Nathan walked beside him playing his ukulele. They walked off into the sunset together. Their classmates followed dancing around with each other. Afterwards they partied till dawn but that's another story. :)
