Around a week later, Zeke was scrambling around his house to find something. He was missing a sweatshirt he had wanted to wear. He sighed and grabbed the clothes he had gathered and walked into the bathroom, taking a short shower. He pulled on his clothes, quickly realizing he left his shirt in his room. He facepalmed. Today was just not his day. He set out for his room, cringing as he felt water droplets from his damp hair drip onto his bare shoulders. He forgot to dry his hair. Fuck! Today really wasn't his day! He was probably just nervous because he planned on taking Tommy out on a date today. He heard a knock at the door, as he turned, changing direction and walking over to the door, opening it. He spotted Tommy. “Oh, hey!” Tommy smiled, “I forgot to give you back your-'' Tommy spotted that Zeke wasn't wearing a shirt, as his face immediately flushed, “- sweatshirt..” he held out the sweatshirt to Zeke. Zeke's eyes lit up. “So that's where it was!” Zeke grabbed his sweatshirt, “Thanks! I was looking for this earlier, I totally forgot I gave it to you! My brain has been kinda scrambled today, and I just got out of the shower,” Zeke chuckled softly. “Do you wanna hangout?” Tommy was staring at the ground, preventing himself from completely staring at Zekes chest. “Y-yeah, sure..!” Zeke smiled, moving aside, as Tommy walked inside, his gaze still low. Zeke shut the door softly. “I'm going to finish getting ready, I'll be back. You can just chill with Max in the living room if you want.” Tommy nodded, walking over to Max, who jumped up and hopped and scrambled over to Tommy, licking and barking playfully at him. Zeke walked into his room, grabbing his blue-gray shirt and slipping it on. He yanked the sweatshirt over his head, before searching his room for a hair tie. He finally found one, tying his hair into a low ponytail. He walked out of his room, seeing TOmmy and MAx playing tug-of-war with one of Max’s chew toys. Tommy eventually got the toy and chucked it, Max scrambling into the hallway, searching for his toy. Zeke walked over to Tommy, placing his hands on his shoulders, as Tommy flinched, glancing back at Zeke, smiling, “Hey, you scared me.” Zeke smiled, “Sorry baby. Wanna go somewhere?” “Can i steal one of your sweatshirts?” Zeke chuckled, bending down and planting a soft kiss to Tom's forehead. “Of course, you know where they are.” Tommy grinned, standing up and running into Zeke's room, opening his closet and looking through it, grabbing a navy blue sweatshirt, slipping it on. He shut the closet, walking out of Zeke's room and over to him, embracing him from behind. Zeke smiled, turning around and wrapping his arms around Tommys waist, hugging him. Tommy smiled, before they both pulled back. “Lets go!” Zeke grinned, walking out of the house, TOmmy following him. They both hopped into Zeke's car, and onc buckled, Zeke drove off. “So where are we going?” Tommy asked. “It's a surprise. You’ll like it, I promise.” Zeke grinned, as TOmmy smiled. “If you say so.”
After about 5 minutes of driving, Zeke pulls into a parking lot, stepping out and walking over to Tommy's door, opening it. Tommy stepped out, pressing a soft kiss to Zeke's cheek. “Thanks~” Zeke closed the car door, smiling, grabbing Tommys hand, holding onto it. They both walked up to a sign, looking up, and the sign read, “Botanical Garden” Tommys eyes immediately lit up. The two walked inside, Tommys eyes flickering around in awe, staring at all of the plants, flowers, and greenery. Tommy was beyond amazed. He had never been to a botanical garden before. It was so calming here. The tip of tommys hair swished in the air, as Tommy spotted a group of blue monarchs. Tommy watched in awe, but that awe shifted to surprise as one of the monarchs landed on his nose. His ears twitched. Zeke gasped softly, as he told TOmmy to stay still, before snapping a photo. The two continued on their way, the butterfly fluttering off. Tommy gazed at the petunias, Gardenias, roses, and orchids, plus the vines that hung down from the greenery filled archways. Tommy was so amazed. He spotted trees, plants, butterflies, honey bees.. His imagination never would have predicted that a botanical garden has so much peace and amazement to him. He turned to Zeke, stopping him, as Zeke looked over at Tommy, raising a brow. Tommy pulled Zeke close, leaning in, whispering against his lips, “Thank you for taking me here~” before kissing Zeke lips softly, his arms wrapped around Zeke's neck, keeping him close. Zeke wrapped his arms around Tommy, kissing him back. Tommy carefully removed Zeke's hair tie, moving it onto his wrist, as he ran his fingers through Zeke's hair. After a few seconds, they pulled back, smiling at eachother. “Is there a reason you took my hair tie, baby?” Zeke questioned, sliding his arm around Tommys waist, beginning to walk with him. “I like your hair down~! Its pretty.” Zeke smiled and blushed softly. “It's pretty here, huh.” “Yeah, it really is. It's even more beautiful than i could've ever imagined. Thank you so much for taking me~!” Tommy smiled. “Of course, baby.” Zeke replied, as they walked through the garden, taking pictures with peaceful wildlife and flowers. They spent the whole day out and about, going from one botanical garden to a national park with flowers and trees. Once at the national park, they walked around, pointing out flowers, and anything interesting. At the end of the day, when they arrived at Zeke's house, Tommy was passed out in the passenger seat. Once Zeke was out of his seat, he walked over to Tommy's side, opening the door and scooping him up, holding him against his chest, as Tommys legs and arms wrapped around him. Once inside, Zeke hushed his excited dog. Zeke shut the front door behind himself and walked into his room, setting Tommy down on his bed and covering him with the blanket. Zeke walked out of the room, deciding he'd stay up for another hour or so. He walked over to the front door, letting his dog outside on his leash that is attached to the ground. He shut the door, before walking into the kitchen and grabbing a scoop, scooping some dog food from a bag and pouring it into a cup, refilling his dog's water bowl. He cleaned a few things up in the kitchen, before walking to the front door and letting his dog in, locking the door afterwards. His dog skidded over to his food bowl, chowing down. Zeke sat down on the couch, pulling out his phone, after about 10 minutes, he heard a door creak. Zeke slowly set his phone aside, looking around, wondering where it was. He spotted Tommy standing sleepily in the doorway, only wearing boxers and Zeke's oversized hoodie, rubbing his eyes. Zeke raised a brow. “Baby? I thought you were sleeping?” Tommy walked over, sitting down on Zeke's lap. “Why won't you lay with me?” “I thought I'd stay up a little later. What happened to your pants?” “they were too hot..” “Ah, okay.” Tommy yawned. “Baby, you should go back to sleep. I know you're tired.” Tommy whined. “Are you gonna sleep with me?” “I-” “Otherwise i won't sleep.” Tommy added. Zeke sighed. “Okay, sure. Let's go to sleep, baby.” Tommy stood up, Zeke following suit. The two walked into Zeke's room, laying down, Zeke holding Tommy against his chest, Tommy resting his head on Zeke's chest, listening to his soft heartbeat. The two boys eventually fell asleep together, cuddling.
