Aurora's P.O.V.

My hair was in it's signature style and I wore a turquiose dress. I clicked my white, rose patterned heels on the marble floor. Any moment now, I told myself. Briar was supposed to come out now.  I never liked tardiness because I could fall asleept at any moment. The curse still takes a toll on me.  "Hello," I turned around and there she was! My darling daughter was awake. She and I always bonded during brunch, mainly becasue we slept through breakfast. "There you are! Good morning, Briar!" I greeted.

"Morning mother!" she said, hugging me tightly.

We sat down at the oak table. Our head chef, David, announced, "Brunch is served, Your Highnesses."

"Wow!" exclaimed Briar, "I don't know what to start with. Thank you Mr.David."

David bowed and went back to the kitchen. There were fruit tarts, toast, pancakes, oatmeal and more. I placed two blueberry tarts, a slice of toast and some yohgurt onto my plate. Briar grabbed some pancakes and  a bowl of strawberries. "Are you alright with everything, my dear?" I asked.

Briar looked up from her plate and replied, "I don't know. Everything seems hard."

"You can tell me," I insisted.

She sighed, "Well...sleeping for 100 years sounds fine to me. It's just losing everything because I slept through it is what bothers me! I know everyone in the castle fell asleept too, but it isn't enough! What about Blondie Lockes or Apple White or Ashlynn Ella. Don't forget Rosabella lives in a seperate castle. They'll all be gone."

I laughed. Briar gave me an incredulous look that meant she wanted me to spit it out. "I think somebody didn't do enough thronework on their destiny. You forgot that the Dark Fairy always puts a special "if then exception" on her curses. If you kiss your one true love, then you wake up."

Briar grinned and said, "Waking up sounds totally fableous, getting kissed well I got mixed emotions for that."

We broke out laughing amd finished our breakfast. Zzzzz...

I must've fallen asleep in the middle of breakfast (oh how un-queenly-like) because Briar was shaking me awake at the dining table. "Mom, you fell asleep," she informed.

"Oh," I said groggily, "The curse is still here. I think I am going to sleep in a proper bed now, bye."

"Wait, uh mom. I'm going to the Beanstalk Bakery to see Ashlynn Ella later."

I smiled and nodded, "I'll arrange a limosuine, how does 30 minutes later sound?"

"Perfect," grinned Briar.

Third-Person Narration:

Queen Aurora and Princess Briar went down the hall together, hand in hand. The queen turned a  left and the princess turned a right. They slept right across the hall from each other.

Briar needed to choose an outfit to wear. She decided to keep her black skirt with hot pink rose outlines, but swap the  sparkly hot pink top with a magenta blouse. She swapped her silver heels with mint green ankle heeled boots. The heel was like a rose bush, one of the reasons why Briar liked those shoes. She kept her ponytail and her glasses. She dumped her Mirrorphone, makeup and wallet into her black and silver Signature pillow purse. Her fairy choker was changed with a silver rose locket. Now her outfit was set, time for her makeup. Briar washed her face and dabbed some mascara on her eyelashes. She added some lightblue eyeshadow and bubblegum pink lipstick. Finnally, Briar double confirmed with Ashlynn. They were still on.
