3. Death by a thousand cuts

When Taylor woke up she had a horrible headache she wasn't surprised. She walked down stairs to find some aspirin and a glass of water.
Once the headache had subsided she picked up her phone to look at Instagram but found that it opened on a contact she didn't even remember having. Joe Alwyn.
It didn't take long for her to remember who that was but with that realisation came  more memories most of which she wanted to forget.

"Oh my god" she put a hand to her mouth. She felt disgusting. She felt hurt. She buried her head in her hands and sobbed at the thought of what had happened, being sober made it all far more terrifying.
"I was.. drunk. H.. He"
This isn't the Adam she loved. What the hell happened to him that could make him want to take advantage of her twice and succeed. She wished joe could have found her and stopped him from kissing her. She could feel his hands on her.
Even after two showers she still felt disgusting.
There was no way that she could ever ever let that happen to her again, so she scrolled through her contacts to Adam and typed a message.

T: what did you do to me last night?
A: honey what?
T: I want to see you say it
A: say what? U were fucking desperate for me so I made out with you

She couldn't believe what she was reading. He was blaming HER

T: Adam I was drunk. YOU walked into the women's bathroom. I asked you to leave. YOU forced yourself on me

She couldn't actually remember what happened after that but she assumed it didn't go any further.

A: for fucks sake stop playing the fucking victim Taylor. You must've been high off your meds to think I raped you. I mean even the doctors think your insane

"He... he what" .she couldn't remember that part.  Her heart sank at the realist of what happened.

T: oh my god please please tell me you didn't
A: you forgot?
T: I didn't think you actually did that!!!
A: oh well WE did

She knew there was no coming back from this

T:we're done.

Blocked

She couldn't believe it. She could tell someone. But she didn't, she called Selena, but she lied

"Hey"
"Hi, how are you?"
"Not good. I broke up with Adam"
"Oh my god! Are you ok? What happened?"
"Um .....he cheated me"
(That was true, actually he cheated all the time but that definitely isn't why they broke up.)
"OH MY GOD TAY!"
"Yeah"
" how did you find out? With who? When?"
"Um..... I'm sort-... sel I can't......."

Her voice broke and tears fell into her phone. She ended the call.
S: call me when your ready. I swear I'll kill him.

She couldn't talk about it right now so instead she asked joe to come over.
