Lisomah POV

Lisomah: " . . . Sabjorn?"

Sabjorn: "Indeed it is. I am so happy to see you. I thought the worst had come true."

Lisomah: "I thought you had died when protecting me at the docks."

Sabjorn: "That was Gerten. Your father told me to take the survivors and leave Remire. He wanted us to stay safe from the chaos."

Lisomah: "I guess the fire and tears obscured my vision."

Sabjorn: "It must have been hard to see your parents and Gerten die. I'm sorry for not telling you before."

Lisomah: "It is alright. Your hands must be full of all that has been going on."

Sabjorn: "Indeed it has been. Being the head of the Remiran Resistance is no easy task, but seeing you again warms my heart."

Lisomah: "Mine does too."

Sabjorn: "Come with me we can sit and chat somewhere else. Everyone else, go back to doing what you were doing."

The crowd disbands and we walk to one of the buildings.

Lisomah: "So where is your girlfriend?"

Sabjorn: "Shella is now my loving wife. She is back at Hrym. I came to Sephron to see how everyone was doing."

Lisomah: "Still never got to meet her. Guess I will soon."

Sabjorn: "Indeed you will. This is where I am staying for a bit while I'm down here."

Lisomah: "Alright."

We walk in and take a seat in the living room. Sabjorn walks in with three bowls of soup and some bread.

Sabjorn: "Here is a little meal after your journey. I'm guessing you two came from Lewick docks?"

Lisomah: "We did."

Sabjorn: "Pardon me, but what is your name sir?"

Lucius: "My name is Lucius Crosshair. A pleasure to meet you."

Sabjorn: "Same to you. Based on your last name, are you related to Commander Tralar?"

Lucius: "Yes I am his brother. Don't worry, I have nothing against you or any of the Remirans."

Sabjorn: "Interesting. So you are like Cranter and Forlon?"

Lucius: "Yes, except I am not from the Empire. I came from Waterdeep with Lisomah on the Morning Star. I helped her with something she was dealing with and decided to help her defeat the Alliance. Before this, I was only coming over to visit my brother."

Sabjorn: "Quite the tale. You do seem friendly so I have no problems with you. Plus you're friends with Lisomah, so she must trust you."

Lucius: "Thank you."

Lisomah: "We have another reason why you came. We want to not only end this war, but also this feud between you and the Veridians."

Sabjorn: "I'm not surprised you would say that. I guess you are fit to be Dragonslayer."

Lucius: "Dragonslayer?"

Lisomah: "What do you mean?"

Sabjorn: "Many years ago, during the Dragon-Imperil War, your ancestor was given a sacred blade by the gods. This blade was known as Dragonslayer. It was a powerful blade that had a dragon carved on it. It could release either fire upon enemies and was the dragon's weakness. He used this blade to end the war and bring peace. A temple was created to hold the blade and keep it safe until the next descendent could wield it. Your father could also wield this blade. After his unfortunate death, we carried to blade to the temple. It now rests there, waiting for you."

Lisomah: "So I can wield this sacred blade?"

Sabjorn: "Yes."

Lucius: "What about your feud.? How can we solve that?"

Sabjorn: "It is a troubling dilemma."

Lisomah: "They feared you correct? That is why they would not let you join them."

Sabjorn: "Their fears were for wrong reasons, but make sense. The reason why we had superior technology and weaponry was for protection. After the war between the Empire and Corsucal Alliance, the Alliances' territory shrunk significantly. Remire was apart of that land. We feared that they would invade us again, so we developed technology and weapons."

Lisomah: "Why didn't you share your knowledge with the other districts?"

Sabjorn: "I am unsure myself. That was knowledge only known by the governor of our district. Why he didn't share it is a mystery. He died during the genocide."

Lucius: "Could a peace negotiation work with the Empire?"

Lisomah: "Now that you are the leader, you could share the knowledge. This misunderstanding could then come to rest."

Sabjorn: "I don't see why that couldn't work. Unfortunately, none of us could get to the city of Vorthal."

Lucius: "Me and Lisomah can."

Sabjorn: "How?"

Lucius: "Captain Cranter gave us a document that allowed us free transportation, plus access to the Imperial Palace. My brother is also there, so he could assist us as well."

Sabjorn: "Lisomah, you chose the right person to have as a friend."

Lisomah: "He has helped me way more than you think."

Sabjorn: "How so?"

Lisomah: "He helped me with the nightmare I have had about the genocide, he has helped me become a better person, and he is overall a great person."

Sabjorn: "Really now? Well, thanks for helping out Lucius."

Lucius: "It is no problem. You give me more credit than is needed."

Sabjorn: "Don't think so hard on yourself. It isn't hard to admit all of the things you have done. You are also helping save many innocent lives that would be lost otherwise."

Lucius: "I never thought of it that way. Thank you."

Lisomah: "No thank you. You are getting involved with our business that wasn't yours to begin with."

Lucius: "Well it is now."

Sabjorn: "She is right."

Lucius: "I know she is. As a friend, I help out her and others no matter what."

Sabjorn: "That shows a kind spirit. I know that you two can succeed at this. You two will end this war."

Lisomah: "So will you accompany us to the temple?"

Sabjorn: "Unfrotunalty, no. With a treaty coming soon, I will be heading back to Hyrm. I will meet you two at Vorthal. You two need to convince the Emporer to hold a peace treaty."

Lisomah: "We will."

Suddenly, the door burst open.

Guard: "Sir sorry to interrupt, but Alliance troops are heading towards the village."

Sabjorn: "What! Get the troops and fend them off. We will meet you there."

Guard: "Yes sir."

He leaves the house.

Lucius: "We will help fend them off."

Lisomah: "We will beat them."

Sabjorn: "I know we will. Come on."

He goes and grabs his great axe and longbow. He follows him towards the Alliance troops. We see a large group of them. Even larger than the on that attacked the Morning Star. We all ready our weapons.

Lucius: "We will protect this village."

Lisomah: "No matter what stands in our way."
