Salutations fellow bokoblins. As we reach nearer to the end of The Remire Calamity, I am curious if you guys have any ideas for another book. If you want to share your opinion, then share your ideas in the comments or conversations tab. For now, enjoy.
Lisomah POV
It had been about a year since the end of the war. It feels so recent, yet so long ago. The reconstruction of Remire has gone extremely well. So many memories begin to flash up of all that has happened. My childhood, the Calamity, Lucius, this war, everything. All of my friends have helped me all along the way. All of their ideas are getting pitched in. The new college for Bards, Clerics, and Druids is almost finished. Lia and Rolen's diner is complete. The daycare is getting made near the schools. The museum and art gallery are almost done. The memorial sits at the center of the city, with a fountain as the centerpiece. We are even having a hospital getting made. It is hard work, but it needs to be done.
Worker: "Where should we have the housing districts?"
He shows me a blueprint of the city
Lisomah: "Have them over here."
Worker: "And the park?"
Lisomah: "Here should do it."
Worker: "We'll get on that."
Lucius: "You need a break. When is the last time you had one?"
Liosmah: "Not sure, but I'm fine."
Lucius: "You need one. Sabjorn can take over for a bit."
Lisomah: "I don't want to burden him. He already has enough on his plate as governor."
Sabjorn: "Go get a break, I can take over for a few hours."
Lisomah: "But I-."
Sabjorn: "Hey! I said I am fine with taking over. Spend some time with Lucius."
Lisomah: "Ok."
Lucius POV
We walk away. I look behind me and Sabjorn gives me a wink. I return it and turn my head forwards.
Lisomah: "Where should we go to?"
Lucius: "How about the beach? It isn't too far from here, plus we can let Echo and Luna stretch their legs some."
Lisomah: "Sure."
We head to the stables behind our house and grab Luna and Echo. We begin to ride off to the coastline. After about 30 minutes of riding, we make it to the coastline. We let Luna and Echo free roam, knowing they won't travel far. We look out to the ocean, with a sunset coming in.
Lisomah: "It is quite a beautiful sight."
Lucius: "Yeah, it makes you lost forget what transpired a year ago."
Lisomah: "You've never been to a beach before have you?"
Lucius: "No. Senneto was a landlocked city. Is it fun?"
Lisomah: "It truly is. It was so much fun being here with the whole family. Building sandcastles, drinking tropical juices, swimming. It was all so much fun."
Lucius: "Now that we live closer now, we can come here more often. And with everyone else too."
Lisomah: "Yeah."
Lisomah POV
I can tell Lucius is nervous about something.
Lisomah: "What's bothering you?"
Lucius: "Oh, it's nothing."
I lightly shove him.
Lisomah: "Don't do that with me. I know you are hiding something. Spit it out."
Lucius: "Ugh. Fine. Stand up and close your eyes."
Lisomah: "Ok."
I stand up and keep my eyes closed. I hear Lucius, shuffling in the sand.
Lucius: "Ok, open your eyes."
I open my eyes to see Lucius on one knee looking up at me. He has a large smile on his face. He holds out a box with a ring in it. It has a fiery rose design on it with red and gold colors on it.
Lucius: "Lisomah, we have made a lot of dreams come true, and we have many more to make true. In order to do that, one question needs to be answered. Will you marry me?"
I smile so much, it is almost embarrassing. He finally pops the question, I've wanted to hear for so long.
Lisomah: "YES! YES! YES! I will marry you."
Lucius puts the ring on my finger as he dawns his own ring. We kiss as the sun sets behind us.
