LanLing Jin Sect. At the backyard of JinLin Tai.
It was the starting of autum and Sect Leader Jin was showering the sonflower seeds that he had sown just a week ago.
As he was pouring water, suddenly a little green sappling started germinating from the wet mud.
JinLing conciously jumped and cheered, "YES!"
All other disciplies and maidens near him were shocked, and stated at him. Noticing the gazes of too many people on him, he became embarrassed for his action, and only mentally slapped himself.
Right then, a cold voice spoke behind him, "Why are you sowing seeds during autum?"
JinLing instictively turned around and greeted the person, "Jiujiu."
The person was adorned in purple robe, a silver bell tug in his waist, and a purple ring that was very famous in cultivation world was shining in his right hand's third finger. That person was none other than JiangCheng.
JiangCheng only arched his brow up high indicating to answer his previous question.
JinLing said, "I wanted to plant them."
JiangCheng only knitted his brows and hummed. Then he walked past JinLing to look at those little sapplings that had just sprouted.
JinLing asked, "Why are you here?"
JiangCheng replied with a cold voice, "Can't I be here?"
JinLing frowned and said, "I mean why didn't you inform me before about you arrival."
"I couldn't afford to disturb Sect Leader Jin." JiangCheng turned to JinLing and looked down at him, "So, I didn't informed you before. Pardon me for the inconvenience."
"..."
After a while JiangCheng coughed and continued, "It had been a week and you hadn't reported anything to me."
JinLing blinked twice and thought that because he was careless his jiujiu himself had to come to check him. He replied, "Ah everything was fine."
Then JiangCheng's eyes landed on his right hand, "Your hand... I heard it was injured?"
JinLing subconciously blushed. He said, "Ih yeah, it was. But now its fine."
JiangCheng only frowned and "hmm"-ed as response. He turned around and was going to leave.
JinLing however called him, "Jiujiu!"
"What?"
JinLing said, "Your leaving?"
"Yes"
"You came alone?"
JiangCheng again turned around to face JinLing. His exoression subtly turning dark. He said, "So what if I came alone?"
JinLing, "..."
He only thought his uncle really was kinda a
lonely. He didn't had anyone to pour his heart into. But he wasn't totally alone. JiangCheng still had him.Deep down he knew, JiangCheng was more stubborn than a child. He wants his brother, but at the same time doesn't.
JinLing said, "It doesn't matter if you came alone. I'll accompany you to the exit now. Also, you don't always have to be alone."
JiangCheng was fine for the first two sentences, but he was taken aback at the last sentence. And his face turned slightly complicated.
JinLing said, "Before leaving have some tea."
